Have owned an Epson photo900 prior to this canon printer. What can I say "Just outstanding" in every department. Print quality is fast, sharp, clear and with great colour tones and saturation. Blows away my epson photo900. Like the double trays from diffrent types of paper. Can even now print properly from Photoshop Lightroom using the profiles that came install with the printer drivers by canon. Clearly the best A4 printer that I've used to date. 5 stars from me. Well done Canon!

I bought this printer several months ago, and cannot fault the printer. It comes with a set of ink cartridges and is easy to install the printer software. Within minutes you are up and running. The printer is quiet and reasonably fast in both printing color, and black and white pages. The printer even has a silent mode, but i've never used it. The printer is fairly large in size and requires a decent space on your desktop, but im just nit picking here...... If you want a quality printer that copys,prints and does good quality a4 photographs, and your budget is limited, then this is a fab buy.

I needed a printer to replace a Xerox Phaser 6110 Colour Laser printer and also a scanner to scan old photos. After much deliberation between this and the Kodak, I opted for this machine and I am glad I did. The machine was well packed and all the information needed to get you started in all there. The ink comes in 5 different tanks (cyan, magenta, yellow, black and pigment black). This is very handy because if 1 colour goes, just replace that ink. An old HP machine (and the Kodak I was looking at) had a tri-colour cartridge, so if only 1 colour went, you had to replace all. This is a waste of money and bad for the environment. I have found with both the 339 and 344 HP cartidges that I get a much better deal through buying online than using instore options, saving between 20 and 33%. As a postgraduate student, I was a mid level home user of black ink and found HP printers which use this cartridge to be ideal for my levels of usage. Since this is an inkjet system then, naturally, this isn't the ultimate best economical/non-replacement system for black ink users. But if you're an average Word-document user who is dependent on their kit's reliability (e.g. someone producing work documents from home without a need for high volume output to justify the extra costs of laser toner), then this is a solid, reliable base for an inkjet system. It is seems to be a good printer but unless HP can sort out the downloading of Roxio Express Labeler Software for direct printing on CDs and DVDs it will need to be returned. This was the main reason for choosing this model. It appears to be an out of date version of the software anyway. The only way you can upgrade is by buying an expensive package(£40 -£50). The more dealings I have with Roxio the less I trust them

I use this printer at work for my own use and love it, simple to use and quick, had it running for 2 month now and know it inside out. Thinking of buying it for home use as well now.

I was given this PoGo by my hubbie. Wasn't sure if I would use it but it is so good. It prints out little photos which are really fun and purse sized. I took it to the pub and printed out photos of our dogs to show friends - I took the photos on my Samsung mobile and sent them over - really quick and once i had put the code it, it was pretty simple. If you are worried about the size of the photos, it is not a home printer so if you are looking for big photos, this won't be for you. But it is great fun and the photos are actually pretty good quality. Finally my husband has got me something I will use!

I've been buying Epson Stylus printers for the past 6-7 years, and both my previous purchases started to pack up once they reached the 3 year mark, generally becoming more and more quirky (refusing to feed paper, funny splodges on the page, etc), so this time I thought I would try an HP. The main reason I bought this specific printer was because it had good reviews as a general purpose printer, but it also seems to do a pretty good job with photos. I also didn't realise until I bought it that it had a built in Ethernet port (plug it into your router and you've got wireless printing!), Picture Bridge (I can plug my Canon Ixus into the USB port on the front and print directly from my camera). I love this machine, it can do everything it says pretty much, just don't try and refill the HP cartridges yourself otherwise you may find it leaks huge black ink marks over your pretty pictures!
