Originally bought a year or so ago it broke down recently, as verified with the WD drive checking software available at their website and was returned to WD UK for repair. Three weeks later I have received a replacement unit. Very pleased with WD's product and service. Less impressed with Amazon's customer service but I suppose that is the nature of cheap internet retail. Can't have it all! My Toshiba Tecra 8200 requires a double ended USB cable to provide additional power for the hdd which is a bit of a nuissance and an additional expense. I note the Lacie ehdd is supplied with the double ended USB cable. I would like to add another point relevant to this and other items too and it concerns fingerprints; wash your hands! ;-)

I have tested the card to check that it is compatible with my Nikon D60 and it works fine. Haven't used it in anger yet so can't comment on the speed. The card came without a little plastic case. This may sound trivial, but I intend to keep the pictures on the card indefinitely, using the card as the ultimate backup store. A case is necessary for this. It protects the card from damage and dirt. Also, putting a label on the card (for example, to say what dates the pictures on it are from) will stop it from going into most card readers - it it certainly won't go into my camera with a label. So Transcend, nice card for a good price but it needs a 10p (at most) case, and until you do that, I'll have to buy someone else's ... Read More:

Absolutely no problems with this product - deleted the free software that comes with it and still have full capacity! As for build quality - unquestionable! So far mine had been: Dropped Stood on Put through the washing machine thrown around etc still working fine =D great value for money too!

Nothing but praise for this mouse. Excellent handling; off switch; very small radio receiver for laptop socket or accompanying 'desktop extension stand'; receiver can be stored in compartment below mouse, switching batteries off at same time. Numerous functions modifiable by software.

I have 2 WD drives: one 500GB for home use/backup and one 160GB for on the road. Both are simple to use and reliable; I would recommend WD to you if you are looking for a straightforward Windows or Mac storage device. Incidentally, don't bother with the free/bundled software tools; they offer very little benefit or functionality. Just plug in and go...

I nearly bought 30 of these cards at £0.49 each. Just before i clikced to confirm the order i noticed that the delivery charge was nearly £140!!! Be very careful as no delivery costs are stated until the order is in the confirmation process - I guess its right that you can never look a gift horse in the mouth (without getting a kick up the bum!)

This is a genuine Canon replacement and works for my 860is. Its the same as the battery that come with the camera. I was gona buy a generic battery such from other battery suplliers but they are generic and you can never be sure. For a start a lot of them didnt match the 1120mAH spec, but the prices were great.... until amazon dropped their price by £10. Its now one of the cheapest batteries for your camera, ontop of which its a canon one , whereas for this price elsewhere you get one which is generic and i didnt trust it in a £200+ camera. With free deliery you cant get a cheaper battery for your canon. It comes "off the shelf" in the proper box they way you would see it as in a shop. Even has Canon genuine hologram on it. I've been using this product for a couple of months now with my laptop. It's obviously designed with portability in mind - it's tiny and so light that I'm surprised I haven't lost it! I carry it around loose in my laptop bag and it seems strong enough too. Plenty of space to fit all your stuff on - I in fact mainly use mine for storing games and tv recordings on (they take up a lot of space on laptops HDD) and it does the job perfectly. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a very portable external HDD with plenty of space for under £100.
