Like alot of people who have already reviewed, i used to hate ipods & swore i'd never get one! But my massive music collection(45GB, 7148 songs) made it the only option.

I've previously had a 20GB Creative Zen years ago & a Sony 20GB until i bought this, so i'm used to music software. Itunes is a bit more effort but once your willing to take the time to tag your music, i spend a solid week correcting, filling in blanks & adding album artwork, it's worth it. The Coverflow part is excellent when all the artwork is added, but it has to be done manually for the music already contained on your computer, as the artwork & tags can only be got automatically for cd's ripped with itunes. Couple of issues: 1. when you import ... Read More:

after 1 year my little sisters ipods battery died, and apple said they would fix it for £200, i told her she might aswell buy a new one. so she got this nano.

this new ipod nano design is just pathetic, the click wheel is SO small that clicking on the wrong option is a common mistake.

the hold button is in some retarded place and got some retardd shaape that is hard to find let alone use.

the PATHETIC £1 headphones suppied are just garbage. seriously.

you MUST use sucky itunes software to put anything onto the ipod. Itunes is no. 1 retarded piece of software, it is SO LAGGY even on my high spec computer, installed itunes loads up like 4 other processes that just eat away your CPU/Memory and connecting ... Read More:

Why does delivery scale up on a 1-1 basis? 1 card is £5, 3 cards are £15. Seriously, how can this be justified.

I purchased this sat nav when I moved to a different area. Long or short distances are no problem and get me to my destination without stress or worry. On a recent trip over roads that were becoming familiar, I found my proposed route closed by he Police and a diversion down a strange road I had never driven along before. Tom Tom on, hit the 'Home' button and the problem was instantly sorted with a new route that returned me to my destination without problem. A truly great asset to driving and one I can thoroughly reccomend.

Unfortunately, given Apple's twinning of iPod with iTunes, it's virtually impossible to review an iPod without being dragged into reviewing iTunes. That's a shame, because the 80Gb iPod Classic is great. There were only a few disappointments with it:

1) the disk drive makes it much heavier than I expected;
2) the screen is too glary;
3) the price does not include a cover or charger.

Still, it's got scads of space, the battery life is good (don't get stung buying a power adaptor in an Apple store though...I needed one last minute so could not use Amazon. A hefty £19 later, I'm feeling both well equipped to travel, but slightly ripped off for paying retail) and it feels robust. Not sure how the gloss finish will hold up though. ... Read More:

When you first unbox it, it looks like the sleekest music player you will ever find. Super thin and almost completely smooth, it does really feel like something that should be displayed, and not used...
As previous reviews state, a case is a must to keep it that way (although it's not the screen, but back that you are protecting, unlike usual mp3 players).

Upon use, it is fairly responsive, and if using with headphones, the clicks when you press buttons make up for the lack of tactile feedback. Using is easy, and most people probably won't even need to consult the quickstart guide to start playing music as the touchscreen is extremely intuitive to use. Sound quality is more than satisfactory, especially with your own decent headphones, and is far more ... Read More:

I must say that this is a great piece of techno wizz for the price and I've had one since christmas. However I was unlucky enough for the screen to pop on the inside (no exterior damage) no idea how but anyway I sent it off to creative for repairs and they charged me a whopping £45! thats nearly half the price of the zen itself. It then took 2 weeks after the repairs to get back to me.

but to the point. If your going to buy this make sure that you buy a plastic case for it because the leather case does not protect from shock damage, and maybe some new headphones to do the creatives sound justice

Pros:
*great sound quality
*pretty sharp screen
*sd card slot (which is amazing)
cons:
*videos don't do the zens screen justice ... Read More:
