When item arrived, there was only one dvd in the blister pack. Good old Amazon sorted it out for me, although it wasn't strictly their problem as the pack comes from another supplier. Disc itself is fine though.

These are decent quality DVD-Rs. Please ignore the other reviewer who claims they cannot be used for video - I do not know what technical issues he encountered but I have used them for a year or so for both my home movie DVDs and Data Storage/backup and have had no problems. I have yet to try printing on the all white top surface so cannot comment on how well it takes - I just use it as a blank slate to hand write on whatever I need to. A great value product

I purchased these because they had good reviews and I was looking for cheap, reliable CD-R's. Unfortunately, the latest batch to be sold by Amazon are manufactured by Ritek and are the worst performing CD-R's I have come across. I own a Plextor drive, one of the most media firendly around, but I struggled to get these things to burn without turning them into coasters or with large numbers of C2 errors. In the end I had to burn these discs at 16X just to get them to burn without errors, a far cry from the rated 52X. This is the second time I have had a run in with discs manufactured by Ritek, the first were TDK's, and they all have one thing in common...they are poorly made. We use these a lot at work. Unlike most printable dvd's, you can print all the way to the centre- there isnt that clear or sometimes raised circle in the middle of the dvd. Also, there is no text round the edge to get in the way of the printing area- if you need a disc that your going to print on, and need the maximum printable area, get these. The quality of print obvioulsy depends on your printer, but the ink drys well on these dvds, and the quality is very profesional looking. I'm not too bothered about the lack of a spindle, but the only complaint i have is that on some dvds, the purple colour from the underside of the disc above, can leave a slight mark on the discs below. This has only been on a few discs, and isnt noticable ... Read More:

Perhaps the previous reviewer had a problem with the machine. I have used these for 2 years now and no problem. 10 out of 10.
