Once you find a CD-R that's compatible with your system, then stick with it. I've been using these regularly for a couple of years now, and find them to be reliable with my HP laptop, old Toshiba laptop and my HP desktop. I had a batch of Maxell and Phillips blank discs, and for whatever reasons, (incompatibility with my system?)- about 70% of them would eject in the middle of burning. So for now I'm sticking with TDK, and at 20 pence per disc, I won't cry if I accidentally make a coaster!

Sony DVD+R (recordable), 50 Pieces Spindle, 16x I've tried lots of different brands of discs over the last few years, but for me, Sony discs lead the way for stability, endurance and compatibility. In the family, we use a number of different brands of dvd player, and not all brands play all discs, but this problem has ceased since we switched to using Sony discs (this review also applies to RW discs). I would recommend this brand, even though it is alittle more expensive, it is worth paying more for reliability.

After using a long list of cd/dvd blank discs, I finally arrived at the Sonys. These are by far the best quality playback discs I have used, and all of them burned with no problems at all........5 Stars from me, I will only use Sony from now on........
