Pretty much everyone who knows me has asked "Why did you spend so much on a keyboard?" And while it's true that I like shiny things, this is truly one of the best pieces of kit you can get. It looks fantastic, it's quite comfortable to use, and once you get used to the touchpad, it's amazingly easy to use. The battery lasts for ages, and is completely rechargeable which is pretty useful - you just stick it in it's charging dock and go out for the day, then come back and it's ready to go. Bad points? No number pad, as said above - but that can be overlooked. Only other problem is the first one I got was faulty, but it's replacement is absolutely fine.

I was a little dubious about these plugs when I first saw them. 200MBPS connection for less than half of what big brands cost. However I opened the very nondescript white packaging, plugged them in to the wall, installed supplied Ethernet cables from the home-plugs to router and computer and they just worked. Nothing else required. The supplied Ethernet cables are about 1 meter long. There is a software disk in the both, this contains a utility to password protect the plugs and also shows the connection speed. I have tried several plugs in my house and get between 150 and 195 mbps depending on distance. I've had this reader for a few years now and been using it on a G4 iMac. It has performed perfectly well over that time. Please be wary if you're a new buyer though as it won't work with SD cards over 1GB and it won't recognise the SDHC cards that are available now (which weren't around at the time of this products release). I've had it working fine with a 2GB Compact Flash card and it's been fine on the USB 1 port of my iMac. It's a nice little reader but out of date. You're probably better off getting something more up to date that can handle more.

I brought these hair straighteners two years ago and I must say that they have served me well. They have never done anything bad like burn my hair or shoot out blue sparks as some naughty straighteners do and have survived almost two years of heavy usage and me abusing them, throwing them on the floor, leaving them switched on,etc! My hair is quite straight naturally, just a little wavy in some places if your hair is like mine then they will do a lovely job. If you have thick, curly hair then I'm not sure that they will be as effective. It is also possible to curl your hair with these staighteners, I managed it but it is a skill to aquire (if you do it wrong, you get a square kink). Does exactly what it says on the tin - connect your ipod to the 3.5 stereo in jack on your car stereo (for example) - making it a quick and easy way to play your ipod in the car - with much better sound quality than those awful FM-tuners. Only problem, the wire is thin and not very durable, sooner or later, due to normal use, the wire will start to go, and you'll end up with sound coming out of one speaker only (unless you jiggle the wire constantly to find a spot it likes) - So if you intend to buy one of these, I suggest bookmarking this page now because you'll be back within 6 months to buy another one - Don't say you weren't warned!
