I think this is a handy little device. After losing many a cap in my handbag, this reatractable stick solved that problem. Can't complain about the speed - seems pretty fast - what I would consider the standard for a USB 2.0 device. Plus, Kingston offered a 5 year warranty on these - hard to beat!

The batch that I am using have been rather awful. I've had to purchase a CD recovery software package to get my pictures back. Not all of the CD's in the 100 pack have been corrupted but a vast proportion have.

I brought the hard drive from amazon, was very please with the price - especially compared to what it costs in the Apple online store. It looks great underneath my mini mac, and is really fast and quiet. One word of warning tho, I had recently switched to mac and needed this hard drive to collect my extensive music and photo files from my old pc so they could be used on my new mac. This drive comes pre formatted for use with mac only. Now this isn't a problem if you are buying just to used with mac. Managed to find a solution on Iomegas website on how to format to fat32 for use with pc and mac, but this process took hours! So be warned!. Once all that was sorted that has turned out to be a great buy.

I'm a Sony boy, so when I decided that I wanted a HDD music system, this was the obvious choice. I was looking for a decent HDD capacity, obviously a good sound, a DAB radio and a system that looks well in the living room. This piece of kit delivers on all four of those, so it does the job, but its not all plain sailing. I've not explored the full features of this system yet so this is not a full review, but there's certainly a few things I think people need to consider before purchasing one. Firstly, its quite expensive for what it is, although the price on Amazon at the time of writing this is £30 less than I paid and much more reasonable. I have always used verbatim cd's however after getting these I will no longer buy verbatim products. I have tried recording on to six cd's and each one ended with an error during recording. It seems to record so much and then stop. Even trying different files and much slower speeds they just did not work. I have since brought a different make, the quality was better and everything worked fine. Just proves it was the CD's and not my computer.
