Similar situation to the other reviewer. I had this machine hooked up to my PC and was very handy, but when I decided to go to Mac it transpired that the scanner would not work with my iMac, contrary to what I had been promised when I bought the printer a few months ago. So now it has to go, to be replaced by something that will work with the new computer. Not pleased is an understatement. Other than the scan problem I love it, would not change it for anything. It's a real pain to have to get rid of it.

We needed to replace our printer, once again I could not bear to spend £60 on a replacement black and a replacement colour cartridge for our Lexmark Z55. That printer was fine, but to keep throwing money away on those cartridges would be madness! We wanted a network printer, so that my sons could print their work from their PCs without needing to switch on the main home PC with the printer attached. And finally, I needed a fax machine for business use. This printer met all those requirements well, and delivered other benefits too! This is an awesome piece of kit that can convert your documents into PDF in just seconds. It's small and portable, and does exactly what it claims to do! There's no ridiculously clunky software and no pointless features which you'd never use. It's quite expensive, there's no doubt about that, but in terms of making your life easier, it's worth it's (albeit light) weight in gold. I've thrown out three bin-bags of shredded documents in just the last week...

I bought this printer to proof garden designs before final printing at A2/A1. I have found it an excellent performer for the job. I rarely print large photos as the designs have small concept images on the page rather than large, borderless copies, etc. Compared to my Epson CX6600 A4 printer, the colours are perhaps a little washed out but I would think this is the paper rather than the printer and I only print at the normal setting not `best'. I chose the printer as new ink cartridges have the nozzles built in so that should the printer be unused for a while and clog up I can replace the ink and nozzle. Occasionally the paper flicks a corner and gets a bit smeary but this should not deter you. You will need to give it plenty of desk space but it is ... Read More:
