Logitech is a company that you have to respect, you can buy their products with folded eyes. I bought this presenter after an extensive research since I'm a technologist and for me, buying technology is the most tedious process ever. After I opened the package and inserted the batteries I plugged the USB dungle into my XP machine and it just worked with PowerPoint with zero hassle, the more exciting bit is when I plugged it into my Linux Ubuntu laptop with OpenOffice ... exactly the same, works straight out of the box. I would happily give this product 5 stars ... it looks professional, it feels professional ... simply fantastic !!!

This mouse paired easily with my iMac, without having to use the software included. It tracks very well, and fits nicely into my hand. Matches perfectly with Mac and keyboard too!

Yes its nice and small, but what nobody has pointed out (i found out after i bought one) is that its only good for about 200mm distance from behind the camera (assuming your infra Red receiver on the camera is at the front. I have a Canon 450D and the receiver is front right ie near the hand grip. This is no good for taking a picture from a few meters behind the camera. Very disappointing as this isn't pointed out anywhere. Ive now bought the Radio wireless remote (about £20+del) and that works to a max distance of 100m. If you just want to use this remote right at the camera or infront, you'll be fine. UPDATE.: used my new radio wireless remote now, and its awesome for my use, works from anywhere, never missed ... I can only assume that the set I received was faulty; if it wasn't then no one should be allowed to sell this thing. I have used Trust equipment before and been reasonably happy but never again. I installed this with no problem on an up-to-date PC and spent an hour trying to use it. And failed! The mouse refused to staying working for more than two minutes before both it and the keyboard hung, necessitating resetting the dongle. Even during the brief respites when the thing worked, the mouse was wildly erratic and flung the pointer all over the screen when it wasn't sulkily freezing in one place. Worked well as a mouse once I had trimmed the plastic rim down on one side of the black platic top piece with a modelling knife to stop the left button sticking. Despite amazon description, my delivered mouse was USB connection only. No PS/2 adapter was supplied. However occasionally wild leaping pointer all over screen only fixable by disconnecteing an reconnecting USB lead was disconnected and reconnected to the PC. USB connection feels poor, I think its, well, cheap. Moved mouse from XP to Win98 via an (unsupplied) USB-PS2 adaptor machine and has worked there since. I initially thought that the hype surrounding a laser mouse was just that - hype. But it's not until you use the mouse that you realise just how smooth and intuitive it is. I have awarded this product 5 stars based solely on it's performance as a basic mouse, you will not get better control. The other features it boasts are a bit clunky, the left / right scroll button clicks, and the thumb click option are not half as smooth as the mouse operation itsself.

I bought this for myself for note taking and ended up giving it to my daughter as she has jus started university, It works really well and the conversion is not bad either just a few things need to be ammended, slight problem with converting diagrams but save lots of time not having to type up notes, Many of her uni friends now want one. My daughter now admits this is a better purchase than the new laptop that she bought having been told she would need one, she now realises that carrying a laptop around is not really that feasible but this little product just fits in any pocket and can be used in any environment and then taken home and popped into any type of computer laptop or desktop.

This is a good device. Since the ball on it is moved, and not the unit itself the TrackMan is a good space saver. For me personally, I would have preferred it to be slightly larger and have a teensy bit "chunkier" feel. But objectively speaking, the feel and build quality are fine. The biggest thing is the functionality and use. The specifications are not extraordinary and you cannot program it with a huge ammount of options other than some choice as to what the wheel button can do. I have seen serveral comments about the TrackMan and how it's great for general computer use, but not so hot for gaming. POPPYCOCK! I spend 2-4 hours a day gaming and/or using the internet. I have used this keyboard for about six months. Its comfortable, but so incredibly noisy. I am a touch typist, and find the clacking spacebar most irritating. Also, the letters have worn off the keys, particularly the E, I O and M. This should not happen with a keyboard nowadays. I will not buy this one again. Its not designed or built for fast touch typists. Disappointing. Evelyn Adams
