I've only just installed this drive on my Vista PC. You will need to install the dotnet framework version 1.1 and the Service Pack 1 update to get the supplied backup software working. But that's all free from Microsoft so I can't really mark it down for that. I have not tried out the "turbo" stuff yet - I'm inherently skeptical of badges like that. I subscribe to the theory "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is". And besides, that's not why I bought this drive. What I wanted was a portable drive with no external power supply and software that's easy to use. On all counts this package scores highly. I have a 17" Dell laptop with a 9-cell battery. The trouble with this is the battery sticks out of the back by about an inch. Trying to find a laptop bag big enough has been a bit of a struggle. I have actually bought 3 different bags previous which didn't fit properly. If you do not wish to waste your money on trying out bags yourself, just get this one! Simple! It fits perfectly! The quality of the bag itself is good. My laptop is unfortunately one of the (if not, THE) heaviest I've ever encountered, but the straps feel easily strong enough to support it. I recently purchased a new 17" laptop (Dell XPS M1730) and have been researching cases for stowing it away safely. I found the measurements quoted to sometimes be very confusing and obviously inaccurate. I knew my laptop wasn't on the slim side so wanted to make sure what I was buying would fit (for info my laptop is 41 x 32 x 5.5 cm). I resorted to researching the manufacturer's websites for technical specs and finally made a choice to purchase this case (apparently like 67% of other customers who had also viewed the same case - so a little puzzled why there was no review if it's that popular). I would recommend - 2 memory cards for £9.50 much cheaper than Argos (£19.99 for one!). Fast delivery and reasonable postage and packing costs - unlike some other sellers.

This notebook case ticks all the boxes when it comes to design, construction, and value. The only design improvement I would recommend is the addition of a rubber base - the English weather being what it is. The interior has enough pockets and zips to ensure items won't fall out when you open the bag, and not so many that you have to spend 5 minutes trying to find where you stowed them. The plush lining also means there's no need to buy an additional neoprene liner. My only significant gripe is that Belkin only offers half the choice of colours here in the UK than is available in the US. There's just no excuse for this given the size of the UK market, and it doesn't make sense for a company the size of Belkin to limit its own sales potential. But all in all a ... Read More:

This product could go either way. I purchased two of these for two different laptops. One pad is as noisy as some of the other reviews complain (though for me it seems a mild inconvenience). The other pad is so quiet I could barely tell it was running (until I stuck my finger in and stopped the fan). Both get the job done, but please take note of the dimensions. My wife's 12" iBook doesn't sit right because it just barely fits on the raised rubber bumps and any slight movement in either direction puts it off-center and if there is no gap between the pad surface and laptop bottom the fans are not effective since there's little air movement. very handy bag. it fits all my files and notebook. the straps are great, but its too tight with the 15.4" laptop. should be a little but spacy. overall, i love it. gud value for money.

This bag arrived promptly which was great but i was hoping for a pink bag so was a little disappointed to discover it was a beigy colour which is in my opinion completely different from the way it looks in the picture.However, my 15.4 inch laptop fits snugly inside and the bag is great value for money.

Received this product in about 3 working days so the delivery time is pretty good. I have found that this product keeps my laptop very cool. The three fans are powerful enough. The blue lights makes my laptop look like it has a neon glow. The only bad point I have found with this product is that my laptop is 14 inches in size and it is widescreen which means that the cooling pad is slightly small. This a small issue and the fans are powerful enough to cool a laptop. I would recommend this product to future buyers
