I did the sound for a conference recently and with this device you can record two separate mono signals (left and right), so I recorded two seminars on one machine simultaniously. Great device.

I've had my On Time since July 2007 and of course read the reviews. The radio does work on any station(just read the instructions), you don't have to listen to the same song on your ipod each morning; just change the shuffle setting, the display is a bit bright but not that bad.My only gripe is you cannot set the volume when the alarm goes off as it steadily increases!!It can be very annoying.JBL are aware of this and don't see it as a problem - I do.

I loved it when I bought it, and for about 6 months it was the best £200 I'd ever spent, but then it started to go wrong, the battery would give up the ghost after about 20 minutes of video playback and if I tried to put it on shuffle it would get to about the 4th song and pack up completely and have to be reset. I contacted apple and they told me to update the settings and restore it to its original factory setup (deleting everything I had on it, which was quite annoying). I then made do with it as all I really do is play it at work and in the car but two days ago it completely blew up, the screen died, it would no longer update (the file is corrupt and unreadable, apparantly), and it also erased my hard drive. I have owned 3 Archos PMP units now and bought this one due to its attractive price and really portable size with flash memory. My impression of the sound quality is excellent. The sound is 'warmer' than an Ipod nano (which I own I am not an Ipod hater!). The video performance whilst not as good as the Archos 605 is still very good and near DVD quality. I have now watched a couple of full length movies with no eyesight problems! Although the flash memory is small at 2GB it is very cheaply upgradeable and I have currently a 4GB SD card installed. I would agree with other reviewers buying the plug-ins is a pain but it is a well known issue on the internet, at least customers have the option. The docking unit is also really needed ... I got this for my birthday a month ago and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. It is multipurpose- plays songs, has four great games, calender, clocks for all over the world, photos, contacts, stopwatch, and notes. The sound quality is really good and the provided headphones are stylish and just wonderful. DO NOT BE DECIEVED by the picture. The colour is no way near as tinny or horrible as it seems. It is a really beautiful, electric blue that you will fall in love with. There is one bad thing- it scratches very easily- but only the scratches on the white parts actually show up. If you have a 1GB Apple shuffle you will know how great these are, I have just upgraded to a 2GB simply because I had filled my 1GB and was having to delete songs to fit new ones on. Once you are set up with itunes importing your fav tracks from your cds is extremely easy as is deleting songs you get fed up with. I haven't actually downloaded from the itunes site as I have so many cds anyway . I use mine with sony headphones and with any cheap ones I have and the sound quality is excellent in either case. I did treat myself to a seperate sony ipod charger so i am not tied to charging on the computer. If I was buying a shuffle for the first time I would choose a 2GB if I could afford it as like me you would probably end up upgrading sooner or later.

I loved this mp3 player, it had great sound and its was very easy to use. A few weeks after getting it the volume button stopped working. I carried on using it and it started working again but a week later it didnt. I still carried on using it. A month later it stopped working all together and wont turn on at all. This is a very good mp3 player..... when it works.

I wonder if the previous reviewer has a faulty radio! I have had my Zen Stone Plus since last July and regularly use the radio when walking the dog (in South Wales). It also works well in North East Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North East and South East of England ( I haven't tried it anywhere else). I have even used the radio on the train. I am delighted with both the radio and MP3 player and would recommend it to anyone who wants a cost effective, truly portable MP3 player with radio functionality.

This is a cool piece of technology.Its small,slim and has an excellent display.Pictures are excellent.I have not experienced any scratches yet unlike some other reviews.Would of been 5 stars but for the battery life(which is not 14 hours as stated).I get up to 10 hours maximum.Also would of been nice of apple to supply an AC adaptor so I could charge the ipod from the mains rather than having to charge it through my computer.
