This is now the fourth one of these I have had and all 4 have sooner or later simply frozen on me. You can't even switch the damn thing off but it lapses into screen saver mode so the battery aint ever gonna run down it will just remain "shutting down" indefinately. Never buy this- also the FM radio isn't all it's cracked up to be and I found it incredibly difficult to tune any station I wanted. To end on a positive note though the sound quality was very good- but shop elsewhere.

As with all Freecom products I have had in the past this is equally as good. A great robust design, and the top fits securely. Freecom are always reliable and I know a USB stick is a USB stick but you cant go wrong with this product. - 5star

I bought this for my wife as a replacement for a samsung player that went faulty. The player is a fraction of the size but the battery lasts much longer,its not run out yet after a couple of days of good use( she would have been asking me to charge the samsung by now). As already said the volume goes loud enough once you find the menu to up the level from normal to loud. For the size the display seems to jump out at you and looks a lot larger than size it really is. The radio reception isn't fantastic but what would you expect ,how on earth do they get all the stuff inside there anyway,its not even big enough for a battery. For the price i think its fantastic, i think it so good i might even get one for myself.

I've had this player now for a week. I have owned one other mp3 player but play music through many different devices, like computer and xbox and garmin gps (plays music as superb hi fidelity mp3 player). Now the the sound on this little device is amazing! No matter what mp3 you have, it will sound great. You can adjust the audio perfectly to your taste using the EQ but out the box the sound at factory default setttings is second to none. Design and build make this feel like you are holding a tablet that will last a thousand years in your palm. For me the headphone jack is extremely sturdy so far - it grips the jack very tighly and is the best one i've had - so many other devices i have returned for the can't hear sound in one side of headphone ... This CD player is certainly portable, but not very convenient because there is no belt clip or means of attachment to clothing. In other words, you can be stationery with it on a surface near you or moving provided you hold it! Unfortunately, this deficiency cannot be seen without cutting open the firm plastic packaging, which then voids the conditions for return to Amazon. The sound quality is satisfactory but the "mega bass" does not do much for my hearing.

Im on my second vplus the first froze and had to be replaced,now the second one has gone wrong and I`m in the process of getting it fixed/replaced.I`m very disapointed as when it worked it was quite good,but if you use a mp3 alot the last thing you want to do is have to keep sending it away to be sorted!! I wont buy creative again!!!!

I took note of reviews from this site and across the internet. I initially charged the freeloader three times using USB to condition the battery. Quite simply it's a fantastic piece of kit. Today I have charged up a set of batteries and two mobile phones. This is possible by the Supercharger, despite the cloudy conditions. I placed the supercharger on the outside window sill upstairs with the freeloader on the inside windowsill, with perfect results. I'm sure this thing will come in handy eventually but it is not compatible with the old Sony software (so I have to put all my CDs back in the computer), doesn't seem to like anything iTunes related and coughs up a furball if anything MP4ish goes near it. Most of all it is really flimsy and feels like it will break in a stiff breeze. Please Mr Sony bring back that bulletproof silvery thing you made a few years ago. It was ideal for all that outdoors stuff - mine only died when the dog ate it.

Bought to connect iPOD Touch and iPOD Classic to 3 different Bluetooth devices that each use different pairing codes. Worked first time every time. It's light, stylish and needs no charging - it is powered from the iPOD so one less charger needed. I think I will be buying more of these to give as Christmas presents!
