If you're not using the iPod touch then this unit probably works well. It's well built and well specified. I'd imagine a lot of touch customers will, like myself, be attracted by this product. It seems crazy that Apple didn't include blutooth on the touch, it's crying out for it. But claims on the Gear4 website, and all the literature I read, that the touch is supported are stretching the truth somewhat. Yes you can take and make calls with this when connected to the touch, and listen to the radio and use it as a remote, but don't expect it to display caller numbers or radio frequencies on the iPod touch. Bought this iPod as a gift for wife and she loves it - looks great and overall it's a very good mp3 player. Though for me the only reason to buy a 1g (first generation) nano is if you want a black or white one. It's true what they say, you only have to put the 1g down on a normal surface and it's scratched. The 2g nano has a longer life battery and better casing, which they say is less likely to pick up marks. So for me it's a shame there isn't a 2g in white. If like me you're a windows user it's worth noting you can install the iPod as a drive on your pc but as these are older models, they require an up-date before you can transfer files. Received this yesterday from Amazon via Hughes Direct - great service all round. Please read all the good reviews on this site for the 4 and 8Gb models and the same goes for the 16Gb version. My first MP3 player and after reading as many reviews as possible on the web, I am really chuffed with (almost) everything. I downloaded the latest firmware and GUI software, games etc. There is just thing bugging me - there is a function called "Address Book" but when I try to open it I get "no file" - anyone out there got the P2 and solved this problem? Summary: Great player, great sound and picture - well done Samsung!

I never got it... Ipods are very un-unser friendly to fill with music (you MUST have Itunes to do it and the smaller players don't even come with a disk!!) and the actual use is just OK. They are just trendy, nothing more. Creative Zens, however, are just as good (if not better) and don't need special software to work. Just use your windows XP to "send to" the device and you are away. When considering Ipods, you are paying for the trend. Now use your head instead of your ego - Get a Zen.

what can i write for this little piece of equipment? i ve already bought 5 of those, in different colours and capacity. simply ideal for everybody. if you are looking for a combination of simplicity in use and design, here you are.... i got for myself, for my father and for my nephews. i ve tried the older Samsung mp3, was really satisfied and now this one comes to improve all the disadvantages of the previous series. My opinion? go for it

I'll try to make this review balanced because I believe there are some pros and cons you should really weigh up before purchasing. I wanted to give the radio 2.5 stars! Cons; 1. Reliability I have now had 2 problematic Revo Picos; the 1st radio worked fine for 2 weeks then would not charge at all and then failed completely. Unbelievably, the 2nd radio I've received from Revo does not even power up after the recommended 12 hour charge (whether plugged into the mains or not). So, I think it's pretty clear that my major issue with this product is the reliability, or lack of. I'm going to give it a go with a 3rd radio, but if that doesn't work then I'll give up.
