I bought one of these for my wife about 6 months back. She uses it for listening to plays and talking books etc. It works great. Very easy to copy mp3 files to from Windows XP file explorer. Lasts all night on one charge, my wife suffers from insomnia. Plugs into a USB port to charge. Great piece of kit. Mick Hyde.

This was exactly the kind of device i was looking for. A multipurpose item of good quality with a big good resolution screen. Its slightly heavy but shows the quality of the build. It was slightly annoying to have to purchase extra plug-ins but that done i was happy. I put DivX movies on it and they played well. I surfed the web very easily using the internal touch keypad, checked hotmail etc. There was very little it did not do apart from actually receive TV. Six months later i tried to turn it on and nothing happened. Thankfully i have everything backed up. I took it back to the shop and they gave me a full refund (docking station too). So what next? Well i am thinking of buying the 705 160GB version and hopefully i will have no problem. I still ... Read More:

Must say I was really dissapointed with this little player. The design is very light and tacky looking, cheap plastic. I wasnt expecting great quality for £25 but you can get much better than this. The menu is very fiddly and tricky to use, nearly threw it off the wall at one point. Takes ages to copy over your files, and it kept loosing connection with my laptop. One plus is that you can charge it from your pc and a mains adaptar that comes included. The earphones are a waste of time and the socket for the jack is tiny!! Now need to go and buy an adapter to connect my JVC earphones, very annoying! Some of my mp3's came up as "format error" on this player, and there is nothing wrong with them. I bought this in a hurry and now wish I hadnt

This was the first MP3 Player i'd ever had, and after reading good reviews about the easiness of use, I decided to buy it. It's sooo easy to use, and one AAA battery lasts for ages! Creative's customer service is the best I have EVER had the fortune to contact - I had a problem when I stupidly took the battery out of it when it was turned on, and all the music got wiped - A nice man from Creative guided me through the steps to re install the firmware - well done Creative - your customer service is something to be proud of. I only left this player for another when 1gb wasn't enough room for me.

Build quality is solid and sound is great. I am so impressed I will be purchasing one for myself. Version with radio is worth the extra.
