I do love my new Creative Zen Stone, but I only wanted a tiny mp3 player to put my favourite tracks on to so that I can carry it around easily and listen to everything on shuffle. It's brilliant for that. (I already have a 30GB Creative Zen vision for all my music.) I haven't bothered with the headphones, as I have a much better set. I reckon Creative should break the mould and offer their mp3s without headphones for those who are clued up to the `the headphones that come with mp3 players are usually duff' fact of life. There is some background noise but I only notice it between tracks and that's only if I'm paying attention. This is my first Pod. Its a fantastic little gadget. I use it walking to and from work and at lunchtime. Its extremely light and clips onto a shirt, tie, belt or jacket. Its easy to use and you get a good 12 hours from a very quick charge up [2-3 hours]. Quality is good and better than some MP3's i've tried and I like the headphones. They are comfortable and good enough quality. Maybe a bit light on the bass. The only criticism is the fact that you can't select the music you want to listen to and after a while its something I miss. You can listen to whats installed in order or shuffled up. Why some people choose to dismiss this player or moan about it's lack of features is beyond me! It's simply brilliant! I use mine purely for the gym, so where else could you expect to get 250 tunes on an mp3 player which is lightweight can clip on your pocket and not even know it's there and not have to worry about breaking it? I used to take my 30gig ipod with me to the gym and after it falling off the equipment so many times and bearing in mind it usually fell onto something made of cast metal, not ideal really when you have a screen to break! So the fact that it doesn't have a screen is a bonus for me cos it's less to worry about and why are you ever likely to want more than 100 let alone 250 tunes on it when you can simply change them anytime you ... Fantastic little player. I defy you to find better at this price! Beware: Initially, I couldn't get Windows to see it. All it took was a USB setting change in one of Sansa's menus, but as the player was supplied discharged and the menus aren't available when connected to (powered by) the computer it was a bit chicken-and-egg to get it going. Don't let this put you off. I like it a lot.

Guess what I recieved the day before my birthday? Well, actually quite a lot of things really but one gadget stood out above the rest. As always Sony make top quality products. I've downloaded my entire music collection to this nifty little thing and am just in the process of downloading my entire picture collection, I've just finished now. On to the player then. It looks absolutely fantastic! Way, way better than those iPods some silly people might have. This is the top of the range and it's what we call the creme de la creme. The Wireless Bluetooth headphones I can't seen to get working at the moment but never mind. It looks oh so graet. I even got a cradle and a case for it. Now all I need is a speaker system. the mp3 is great but i hate the shuffle because it dosent relly shuffle all the songs and when it dose it just replays them in the same order so thats annoying plus i found myself have listening to the same song over and over again at least 6 times before i realised it and no i am not stupid i am a student who listens to music very often, but besides that just i just need to say that is mp3 is very good and thats that.

My husband bought this item for me for my birthday last year. Looks good, but could only be charged via pc and so useless for holidays. I bought the docking speakers to use with this item so that I would get more use out of it as it charged whilst docked. After 1 month of using the docking speakers the player would not work. I paid £60 for the speakers and now have not got a player that works! Bit of a rip off if you ask me. I also have noticed how many of these players are for sale on Amazon "refurbished" which leads me to believe this is happening a lot.

Works perfectly, but really eats batteries. Best to use the in-car cable it comes with. The in-car cable also has a USB slot in, probably to charge mp3 players with, but if you have a USB to USB cable you can use it to power the device from your pc.
