After my cheap earphones broke I thought I'd invest in some proper expensive Ipod earphones, and I regret it. What the other reviews say is completely right. None of the three sizes of buds fit in your ear - in order to get the sound properly you have to force them right into your ear so it feels very uncomfortable, and as if you're putting them in further than you should. Within seconds they work their way out of your ears again so they're very loose and consequentially the sound is awfully tinny and quiet. Oh, and those Ipod adverts you see on TV with people wearing their Ipods and dancing around madly are really annoying, because believe me, I can't even walk along without these earphones falling out of my ears. I definitely recommend buying the Zen Stone. It's incredibly cute and it works perfectly. To be honest, I only bought it because it was pink, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's easy to use, both the free software and the player itself, and the folder function is amazing. It's tiny, but it packs a mean punch. I only have one complaint. How am I supposed to carry it? The first thing I had to do was go out and buy new earphones with a neckstrap. It would have been nice if some sort of carrying device was included.

A real disappointment. Easily gets scratched, froze at one point when I hadn't even had it for a month and now the buttons won't work and the ipod isn't responding. I would really recommend NOT to buy this product and I'm going to return mine as soon as I can. I had two ipod nanos before the one I have now and they both froze which was really frustrating and you'd think apple would have improved the 3rd gen in more ways than just 'a brighter and wider screen' etc. Apple clearly are not what everybody makes them out to be. Yes the ipod is attractive and compact but to be honest thats about all there is to it.

I too read lots of reviews, having heard the Bose SoundDock but not wanting to spend that much money. The im600 is a nice little design, but not even in the same league as the Bose. I bought the im600, but have returned it, and bought the Bose. Once you have heard a Bose system, nothing else comes close. Whilst the im600 sound is clear, it lacks the round, warm depth and crystal clarity the Bose delivers. If you really love your music, quality doesn't come cheap, I'm afraid. My advice is to listen to the Bose soundDock before deciding.

We ordered this mp3 for our daughter and it has proved very suitable - cheap, but does everything we need it to. We had a problem at one point when it seemed to freeze and the computer wouldn't recognise it either. We wrote to the customer support people at SanDisk. We had a reply within 3 days that was very clear and once we'd followed the instructions for resetting the unit, it resolved the problem.

I bought this when my original Apple cable stopped working. It works fine for what I need it for - i.e. connecting to I-tunes to synchronise my ipod. It is just a basic cable and I do not believe an official piece of kit but good value for money.
