I specifically wanted a 16GB card to go with my Panasonic HDC-SD9 camcorder. In my opinion, there's not much point going for anything smaller if you want to shoot in full HD - this card is good for 2 hours' recording at the highest quality HD and 4 hours at "normal" HD.

Having used it quite regularly for about five weeks so far, the card seems to be of good quality - I regularly remove and replace the card, and there's no sign of wear and tear on the contacts, as you would expect.

Having the USB reader is a very useful bonus. I already own one of those multi-card USB readers, so I didn't strictly need this as such, but because it is a dedicated SD-only reader it is obviously much smaller and slots easily into my camera ... Read More:

the card reader was very easy to set up just plug in and go!!!nothing else is needed. It appears on your computer as five drives, and as soon as you place your card into the device it loads just like a usb flash drive and your asked how you would like to open the card. very simple to use.

the fact that the reader slides within its own casing is very handy if you have to place one or more large cards into the machine at the same time. a slight draw back is the short usb connector with the device. On the plus side an extension cable is provided so if you dont have a front facing usb port then its useful. the large kingston logo lights up when a card is placed into machine. A very asethetically pleasing device

This is a great memory stick.

When I opened mine I was surprised how small it was and yet it felt quite solid. It's sheathed in clear plastic as a protective cover which can be slid off to reveal the device's very tiny size - is there really 8gb in there?!?!?! Fanatastic!

I thought at first glance 'Oh, it would have been nice to have had some kind of LED activity indicator' and went ahead and plugged it into my machine. Lo and behold the keyring loop area of the device lit-up! Nice. The unit flashes red to indicate activity and gently brightens and dims to indicate no data being transfered. It might annoy some people after a while I guess but I thought it was a cool touch. See how I feel after a few hours.

Needed a card reader to transfer images to an Sd card for viewing on my Wii.I took a gamble with this one as appossed to the more expensive Belkin product. The reason being that a reviewer stated they had problems with data transfer to larger memory cards, i.e.(1 or 2gigs).
I've experienced no such problems and no overheating worries either.
By the way,its 31p, or was, but the P&P alone is a fiver.

I bought this a few days ago. Transfer speed is great. My PC is an over clocked (to 3.0ghz) core 2 duo and as such it transfers stuff quickly anyway.

Filled the card with music in 14 minutes. From a review I read about a San Disk M2 card, I would recommend paying a few quid extra for the Sony card.

These things are so small though!

It didn't come with an adaptor.
