Why didnt I just stick with the review made by C. Falconer "Mmmm Not Really Samsung...,"? Bought this model and it originally came with an S screen from Wi5 (good service) all well and good. Couple of weeks later the screen starts to flicker and then goes completely blank when the monitor reaches it normal operating temperature - not happy. Wi5 tell me to contact Samsung directly for support on this, so I call them and they arrange for a replacement (newly refurbished unit). Again, am not happy about getting a refurbished unit to replace a brand new monitor, but a few months had passed where the unit had been sitting on my desk I had no alternative but to accept the sales pitch "oh, but the plastics will still be new" ... Recently got hold of one of these monitors, as my old 19'' Samsung CRT was getting all dark and blurry, doing my eyes no good at all. I use two monitors, and am using a 17'' Samsung for my second monitor. I thought this was clear and bright until I got the Hanns, now my 2nd monitor looks dark and blurry too so it looks like I'll be shelling out for a second Hanns as it is superb. Great clarity, brightness, contrast, and.... it's viewable area is about 2'' bigger than my old CRT 19''(Work that one out if you can). No dead pixels that I can see, and I can actually read a book after using it without straining my eyes to get the words into focus. Excellent. Buy one yesterday.

This is my 3rd V7 monitor I have purchased and each one has been fantastic value for money. Not only do they look good but they perform really well also. If you ignore the speakers (I have yet to use a monitor by any manufacturer that has decent speakers) this is a great but of kit - easily the equal of otehr more expensive brands - I highly recommend this monitor!!!

This is my 3rd V7 monitor I have purchased and each one has been fantastic value for money. Not only do they look good but they perform really well also. HannsG are good value budget monitors. Unfortunately they are represented in the UK by a company called Repairtech who do not stock units to honour the 3 year onsite exchange warranty. My monitor failed after 3 months and its now 13 weeks since I reported the problem and I still have not received a replacement unit. They are not answering my emails about this and to top it all you have to call an 0871 number to report faults which cost 3 pounds. A totally dissatisfied customer

I bought one of these displays a while back. It was a bit of a stretch on the pocket at the time, but it's a pleasure to use every day. Definitely worth the extra money.
