I have just purchased D-Link's PowerLine Starter Kit as I wanted to have access to the internet downstairs for my PS3. I couldn't believe how quickly I was up and running! I simply plugged one device into the power socket upstairs and connected it to my modem and the other downstairs, connecting it to my PS3. Within seconds the two devices had recognised each other and I was online. No installation or set-up required. This really is a fantastic piece of kit, especially for those who don't want to install any additional wiring as it uses your home wiring network. Must buy - 10/10

After buying a useless KVM from ebay a few years ago, I had some trepadation about this unit. I am however, very pleased so far.

The USB switching can take a few seconds sometimes, but this is small price to pay.

I have not yet tried the audio sharing but the video output is identical to what it was before the switch was fitted, and this is with an 8 foot vga cable I have to use on one pc.

It feels quite solid and well made.

highly reccomended

I've found this to be a good product and have pretty much the same to say as the other two positive comments. I found it interesting to note that the firmware upgrade did the trick for me and this drive has been running very stable for over a year and a half. Not even one glitch. I've mainly used this for storing my own camcorder footage and video editing.

I also am very surprised about the previous reviewers experiences with Maxtor drives because I have had exactly the same experience. I also ended up putting two 500gig Samsung drives in the unit.

My only concern with the DNS-323 was that of heat dissipation. This unit can run hot with two high capacity drives inside and I felt that the one exhaust fan was too limited. ... Read More:

Fine for what it is, but not for this price. Sure it's easy to set up, but so are most wireless-n routers now. I went back to my DIR-655 because this isn't powerful enough to give me a good signal outside the house. If you have Macs (like me) and PC's mixed together it will work but so will most of the much cheaper competition (and they'll have more ports). Make sure it's placed centrally in the house if you can and it'll be fine.

Not a tight fit in my Netgear router (unlike other cables I use), the cables don't fall out, but they do lose connection. A snug fit in the PC though.

I have had to use Blu-Tac to secure them in the router, which isn't ideal!

Bought this product thinking my bluetooth problems would be solved but instead this isn't what I got.
This is pasted direct from the manufacturers website, this isn't what you've been told in the item descrition.
* Bluetooth adapter attaches to your audio devices so you can listen to them wire-free
* 3.5mm stereo plug connects to a wide range of equipment
* Uncomplicated single button control
* Pair with your i.Tech Bluetooth headset/headphone with a simple press of a button
* Compatible with i.Tech stereo headsets / headphones only

Unless you actually own either of these 2!! headsets don't bother

Well, yes, it gives you four USBs from one. But like other reviewers I found the slow transfer speeds with camera, wireless stick and mp3 player annoying - that little message that comes up saying 'this attachment could work much faster...' can really get you down.

I guess the key is to use it for things where speed is not crucial and leave the original USB ports for things that need speed.

But you can buy better.
