This is my third router, the previous ones being Belkin and Netgear, and both became faulty after a period of use. I have had the Voyager for about seven months, so I can't vouch for its long term performance, but the performance within that period has been exceptionally good. Firstly, the Internet connection has NEVER dropped out. It has been switched off when I have been away from home occasionally and on switching on again it recaptures the broadband signal within about half a minute without my touching it. The other two both had occasional drop outs and had to be rebooted. Having gone through any number of ADSL routers, this has now been sat on my desk for some time now and it just works. I may not be doing anything clever with it but as an ADSL modem/router, it does the job well and without any fuss. I also don't need to reboot it every few days like a lot of these devices. So I took it out of the box, set it up and forgot about it. This is how all hardware should be.

Having two pcs using USB Wifi dongles for over a year and having nothing but bother with my wireless network i added another pc using one of these cards. It was 100% reliable in the new machine so i have now upgraded the other two machines to these aswell. Can't fault it. The connection has never dropped since switching. It never used to last an hour without some sort of hang up or disconnection before. The unit supplied does not come with the antenna attached directly to the rear of the card as pictured, it comes with a 'remote' antenna on a cable so it can be positioned on the desk or somewhere with better reception than the back of your base unit. I completely recommend this card, but want to offer my story to give guidance to others. I bought this card to replace my 54Mbps Cable & Wireless card, as I wanted faster connectivity. When I first installed the card, using the installation CD it comes with, there were two options:- 1.) Use the Netgear Smartwizard. (recommended) 2.) Let Microsoft Windows configure the card. I chose the option that was highlighted as being recommended, Netgear, but in doing this upon "successful" installation, I had no IP address, but somehow I was still accessing the internet, then it kept crashing and then eventually it didn't work. I had been having trouble getting a stable wireless Connection with a Mac mini. These guys sorted everything out. Installation could not be simpler. The included ethernet cables are also a real plus. Fantastic product, would thoroughly recommend to anyone who doesn't need a wireless connection, and doesn't want to run cables around the house.

I agree completely with Gadget Geek, this is a great bluetooth headset for comfort, reception, recharging, wearing with spectactles, all great. Trouble is, the ear hook may break either at the top of the curve or at the circular end where it clips onto the actual earpiece. Between myself and my colleagues we own 5 of these headsets and all 5 have suffered from broken ear hooks. They do get a lot of use ~ worn daily, and taking a lot of calls and it did take on average a year for the ear hooks to fail. I've not had any trouble at all with the router. It worked first time with my daughter's brand new lap top, which runs Windows Vista. However the adapter is another story! This was for my 3 and a half year old desktop Dell PC which has a fairly high spec & is running Windows XP Service pack 2. I disconnected the wired modem and followed the Netgear instructions precisely. It worked OK so I deleted my old connection. Then it started slowing down and losing the signal. A complete nightmare to set up. I am good with PCs and bought this as I have other netgear equipment. I tried to set up both secured and unsecured networks with no luck. I made a one hour call to support in India, with no luck. They kept telling me totally different settings to those in the instructions. I spent several more hours and telephone calls with no luck. Eventually I sent the units back to the supplier and luckily they were kind enought to give me a refund.
