Havin bought two TP-LINK adsl routers in the space of a week only for them to be absolutely rubbish I plumped for the LINKSYS-200WAG.It took about ten minutes to setup 1st as a wired connection then as a wireless connection to my first computer(laptop)then to my home PC via my wireless adapter.The instructions was simple and straight forward it pretty much did what it said on the tin cannot fault it.

I've not had any trouble at all with the router. It worked first time with my daughter's brand new lap top, which runs Windows Vista. However the adapter is another story! This was for my 3 and a half year old desktop Dell PC which has a fairly high spec & is running Windows XP Service pack 2. I disconnected the wired modem and followed the Netgear instructions precisely. It worked OK so I deleted my old connection. Then it started slowing down and losing the signal. Then it got to the stage of not connecting at all. I must have uninstalled & re-installed it about ten times to no avail. I went on my daughters laptop & read the reviews again on here. I brought this to go with my N1 Router which is excellent, however this adapter is not. It seems to connect periodically from time to time for no more then a minute, when it is connected it runs very well but cuts out and refuses to connect again. What's also interesting is that it connects fine to my next door neighbour that runs his wireless unsecurely. All in all, go for the cheaper 20 quid ones.

This product is excellent. Very easy to set up basically it is just plug and go, i did not need to use cd. The speed is stated as 85mb yet i am getting a constant 100mb( with netgear dg834gt router and 8mb broadband). To allay some fears, i live in a new home, so have twin ring mains. One plug is upstairs in a multi plug strip adapter, the other is downstairs in a normal socket. As stated before exceeds stated speed. My only negative, hence 4 and not 5 stars, is that the plug is slightly oversized. If you have a narrow twin plug socket you will not be able to use adjacent socket. Delivery was rapid. I brought the hard drive from amazon, was very please with the price - especially compared to what it costs in the Apple online store. It looks great underneath my mini mac, and is really fast and quiet. One word of warning tho, I had recently switched to mac and needed this hard drive to collect my extensive music and photo files from my old pc so they could be used on my new mac. This drive comes pre formatted for use with mac only. Now this isn't a problem if you are buying just to used with mac. Managed to find a solution on Iomegas website on how to format to fat32 for use with pc and mac, but this process took hours! So be warned!. Once all that was sorted that has turned out to be a great buy.
