I have Tom Tom 6 on DVD. It's an excellent GPS system and recognizes all postcodes I've stuck in. It has great functionality with itinery planning as well. Only two small bad points; You can't customize the warning sounds very easily, whenever I pass a speed camera I have to make do with some bizarre whistle sound and secondly, you can only install it on two products. If you buy a GPS phone for example, you have to send the original receipt for the phone to Tom Tom before they'll give you a third code, something that isn't made clear in their sales information Apart from that, all good.

I bought the aluminion case to protect my palm one but found it impossible to open and close easily, I stopped using it before I caused damaged my PDA with the very thing that was supposed to protect it

Don't use this product (or similar adhesive 'screen protectors'! They protect the screen all right when attached, but when you try to pull an old one off, the upward force needed to peel off and overcome the adhesion tends to separate the delicate layers in the digitiser, especially on the edge, where the application control buttons often are. So you no longer get any response from stylus taps on the edge. I experienced this and had to spend £80 on screen renewal. Better to keep phone in case with clear polythene window.

I was a little confused by the two reviews I've just read. I'm working here listening to MP3's on my T2 which is sitting inside it's proporta case. The socket lines up with the hole both with the phillips SHN2500 that I'm using now and with the generic headphones I also have with a right angled connector fitted. There is a downside to the access to that earphone port in that you have to thread the plug through with the front flap open, then connect to the PDA before closing. A 'book' style instead of a flip top would be better from this resepct, but then a book style case wouldn't fit into my dashboard holder that came with the satnav system for the PDA.
