Bought this printer to replace an old trusty HP Deskjet that wasn't compatible with my new PC. All I wanted was a fast but quiet printer and PC World assured me this was both. Yes, it may be all singing, all dancing, but it doesn't perform basic tasks satisfactorily. Epson rightly says that you don't need to replace all colours when only 1 colour runs out, but they don't tell you that the printer will not function if 1 cartridge needs replacing (even if you only want to print in black and it's a colour that's run out), so you're left with no alternative but to buy another cartridge which you don't need.
