I have had absolutely no problems with this labeller on Mac OS Panther or Tiger. The label software is pretty horrible, though. Looks like a Windows port. Ugly, slow and poor functionality. Still, it does the job. At least well enough for me not to bother to try to get Mail to print to it. As for not working with Vista? Well........... ;-))

The printer performed well initially but like most Epson printers has a very short lifespan and consumes the ink at an incredible rate. After a month or so of use it failed to re-produce colours, especially skin tones, with any accuracy and no amount of calibration and head cleaning seems to be able to remedy it. Ok if you want larger prints on a budget and can sacrifice quality.

I have owned this printer for a week now and all i can say is that it is truly amazing, i am an architecture student so i use this all the time for plotting off CAD and printing tiled illustrator layouts, you can print on A3+ paper and i get no banding or poor print head alignment as the review below suggests. The only problem that i can see with this printer is that the ink cartridges are too small at only 11ml, my canon A4 printer has 13ml! apart from that this printer is top notch and i will always use epson for A3 as i have previously used R1800 and 1290 and they have all served for many years before needing to be replaced! All my course mates are dying to get their hands on an A3 printer now and i will definately be reccomending this one!

I bought this on the strength of the majority of good reviews this product received. I sincerely wish that I hadn't. Once the cartridges provided had run out I found it next to impossible to find compatible cheap replacements and the price of the canon cartridges are far too high. I tried using a refill kit but the printer refuses to acknowledge that it has more ink and on top of that, after only a few months of very light use the nozzles are clogged and are impossible to clean. I replaced my old epson stylus with this lemon because I was tired of nozzle clogging and expensive cartridges ( but at least i could get some cheap ones from the supermarket! ) if I had known what a headache this was going to be I would have just got another Epson - better ... Bought this for wireless capability and style - much smaller & neater than Epson or others. very easy to set up & works well on all PC's in the house. quality ok. BUT - bought from Pixmania and was supplied as a french sourced product. mains adaptor was the wrong sort so did not work, had to use one from the old printer, quick start guide was in french or german, and 2 versions of control panel in french or german. so this was dissapointing. why was a european version supplied to a uk address? otherwise very pleased.

It is also not very convenient to take the card to the shops for printing . She is absolutely delighted with this printer . It was very easy to set up , works perfectly and produces very high quality prints in about 90 seconds . If you have a digital camera, this is all you will ever need to produce excellent prints of your favorite shots . I would highly recommend this printer which is well worth the money ! .
