'Upgraded' ? from the HP 3550 to the 3600 and have to say I'm disappointed. The colours all appear green compared to the output from the 3550 although you obviously get used to it after a very short time period. The 3550 coped admirably with printing onto envelopes or indeed almost any paper, the 3600 however jams with 8 out of 10 envelopes and every envelope has two smudges from the rollers. Not very impressed !

We needed to replace our printer, once again I could not bear to spend £60 on a replacement black and a replacement colour cartridge for our Lexmark Z55. That printer was fine, but to keep throwing money away on those cartridges would be madness! We wanted a network printer, so that my sons could print their work from their PCs without needing to switch on the main home PC with the printer attached. And finally, I needed a fax machine for business use. This printer met all those requirements well, and delivered other benefits too! This is a good home printer. I wouldn't recommend it for an office or anything like that, but for printing at home it's perfect. It is very efficient on Ink, and doesn't use too much. It prints quickly, pictures are good quality, and it does the job well. Photocopying is great too, and the scanning is quick. Very straight forward to install, and my Mum was so impressed that I had to order her one too!
