I already own a Logitech Audiostation (the forerunner to this model). I tried this model out in the shops the other day and the new model is definitely as good - probably better sound and more features - better remote for a start. Don't waste your money on Bose or even Apple equivalents, this might be cheaper, however the sound quality is superior. Don't believe me - go and try them somewhere with your ipod and music. Check reviews on ilounge dot com and see that the Logitech speaker systems are respected and the best in the price range.

Hesitated before buying but absolutely no reservations since doing so. Really great quality sound upgrade for any laptop. Straight plug and play with Vista...neat carry case.

These speakers have a good quality of sound, but they are not able to handle loud-ish bass lines and will start crackling. It's a shame because they handle sound very well up to a point. I just don't understand why sony enabled the speakers to go allot louder than what they can actually handle. Very lightweight as well.

Purchased these speakers to use at work with my ipod. The quality of the sound is excellent but as you would expect lacking in bass due to the small size. The design is clever and protects the speakers whilst you carry them. The connection into the rear of the speakers can be fiddly to get in. Overall, excellent sound and nice design.

When you first get these out of the box you will be ASTONISHED at the size of the sub and satellites. These things are beastly. When i first connected them up and heard them I honestly thought what the hell is wrong with them! They are connected to a PC by USB: When your computer CPU is under strain, the USB functions are affected as well. Thus, when listening to music and when your computer CPU is doing something strenuous, your speakers will suffer (crackly noise or intermittent playback). Another thing, if they are connected to your PC by USB, they WILL NOT BE USING your soundcard. iStuff Companion Speakers Good points: very, very small & light & have a neat little case if you like that kind of thing. No batteries or power is needed, which makes them very portable. Bad points: poor quality sound and distortion at high volumes. The maximum volume is just enough to be heard in one room, but not if the room is full of people. This 2.1 speaker system from philips is first class, easy to set up, has a great clear sound and does not distort when turned up loud, Great bass as well. I like the wired remote with blue light easy to switch on/off and adjust volume from your desktop. I would highly recommend this speaker system for games or music.
