In the past I have had problems with several products by Trust, so was dubious in buying these speakers. But the 5.1 surround speakers are quite loud even at half way up. Subwoofer does give out very deep sounds - its very nice. I am quite statisfied with this purchace really. the cons would have to be that once you turn off the unit it does not remember the volume levels when switched back on. But I still give this a 5 out of 5 just because the sound is impressive. I would recommend it.

For under a tenner these budget speakers are great. My old Dell ones killed themselves and also had a subwoofer with wires everywhere just complicating things. These are cheap, easy to use and produce a decent sound quality. Dont expect them to fill the room - they're great for small office use around your desk. Just plug in and play. No volume controls on actual speakers but windows volume control does a good enough job. Good buy for me

I got this as an upgrade to some horrible cheap PC speakers I got for a fiver a while back. Obviously, they are a massive improvement on that. But I am a little disappointed in the sound quality. I like to listen to music on my PC and I'm a little bit of an audiophile (but not to the extent that I need professional help), and I suppose I was expecting more from this set up. Essentially what you have are two mediocre speakers for mids and highs and an absurdly aggressive bass "bin" that goes under your desk or wherever. Well, if you like bass you'll love this - the bass is earth (or carpet) shaking and doesnt disappoint. Well, I bought these because my friend had them and they were really good. I think the price is reasonable and I was over the moon when I got them as the sound was incredible and crisp. But...a couple of weeks later when I met up with my friend again she said her speakers levels are fluctuating really badly on their own (although hers are a couple of years old) and its extremely irratating. Mine are only a few weeks old and I have just noticed mine starting to do it a little. Im not sure why they are doing this but Im sadly returning mine as I cant afford to pay this much for speakers that have a 'nervous disposition' as it were. Although, saying that I am unsure whether to get the same ones again as others who have reviewed these ... Read More:

The Sony 5.1 speaker set is great! i bought this a few days ago and wow do these small speaker pack a punch! there a separate console to control the rear, center and sub woofer! this is a extra touch that was good as you can adjust bass and make the sound even all around your room. i give it a five star because of such a well-design but mainly the value for money you get in return, is more than amazing. the rear speakers still need a little length put on it, but that rather minor when you have such great sound coming from it. oh and there's a second input which is just like a headphones jack, so you need a cable that has a double jack at each end. which Sony don't provide with the product.
