This is really a fantastic piece of equipment it sounds great from the very bottom to the very top end of the sound spectrum. I would highly recommend this product to any 'Music Lovers'.

I have had this product for 2 years and never fail to take it on holiday with us. Strong build, good sound for the price and ease of use (just plug in your MP3). May need to shop around to get a power lead as creative do not supply one or sell it separately.
Otherwise great value!

The product really isn't fit for purpose:
1. Radio interference from mobile phones is shocking! Travelling on a train where mobile signals come in and out made using this device painful - lots of nasty buzzing. And this is when I wasn't using the product as a radio.
2. The back and forward buttons worked the wrong way around! I.e. to fast forward I had to press the reverse button.
3. When left plugged in it drained my iPod battery even when I'd set the iPod into sleep mode.

I can't fault the customer service on this though - when I mentioned the first two problems to me Tecknet responded very quickly and very positively.

I think the previous reviewer is a bit dim because you have to pull the 2 leg stands out from the back of the unit to enable it to stand up otherwise it will of course fall over!! Mine stands up fine (When the legs are pulled out) and the sound is superb especially the 3d feature which gives a spatial sound and is really effective. Overall great sound and value for money for a compact portable unit and don't forget that it has a rechargeable battery so you don't need to buy any or keep it plugged into the mains for it to work hence it can be used anywhere, plus it has a small remote so no need to get up to change the volume or scan the tracks!! Of course the Bose unit has a better sound but it is a lot more expensive and weighs a ton so it depends on what application ... Read More:

I recently purchased these speakers after having read the plethora of positive reviews on the Internet. Excitement soon faded away after it actually came to setting up the speakers. The interchangeable covers are a nice idea, but the design is clearly flawed. I was able to remove two of the covers (from the subwoofer unit and speaker), but I could not remove the cover from the other speaker - it was as if it was glued on. I followed the instructions properly, but was unable to remove the cover no matter how hard I tried.

So I was left with a white subwoofer, 1 white speaker and one black. I plugged the unit in, eager to hear how it sounds. Simply put, the built-in speakers in my Apple iMac Intel (2006) sound *better* than the JBL Spot speakers. I was actually ... Read More:

Do not purchase this microphone at any cost. I made the mistake of buying two. It can not pick up voices clearly enough from any more than a meter or so away. Both broke within a few months - recording static noise. Spend a bit extra on a decent one!

I was actually rather impressed when I bought these nearly a year ago for my laptop at uni, especially for the £25 I paid, and especially considering I'd been used to built-in laptop sound! However, now that they are coming up to the end of their warranty I've found the wiring is tired so the speakers go every so often, the sound is more crackly and tinny, and I'm just generally getting the impression they're not built to last at all.

Now I'm back from uni they're plugged into my high spec pc and high quality external soundcard...and they really struggle with it. It's like playing a PS3 on a 10 year old portable tv!

If you know you're going to want a speaker system that's robust and compatible with more expensive equipment, and built for heavy ... Read More:

I've had my On Time since July 2007 and of course read the reviews. The radio does work on any station(just read the instructions), you don't have to listen to the same song on your ipod each morning; just change the shuffle setting, the display is a bit bright but not that bad.My only gripe is you cannot set the volume when the alarm goes off as it steadily increases!!It can be very annoying.JBL are aware of this and don't see it as a problem - I do.
