This is an excellent card for a low price. Somewhat of a takedown of the 8800 series cards, this mid range 8 series card provides all that i've needed for all the Current games out now (i.e. HL2, CS:S, Quake 4, etc.), at present I can only run at a max res of 1280x1024 because of my TFT but i can turn other video settings up till max (16xQ AA & 16x Anistropic Filtering, etc) & while still running games at around 65-80fps.

If the need arises for better performance, this card is also an overclocking beast! With the current fans I have in my system, it is possible for me to OC the card using Nvidia Ntune by up to around 30%, satisfying my performance needs.

Also, as this is also a DX10 compliant graphics card ... Read More:

Most people buy disks on a spindle and boxes separately. By my reckoning buying these is a cheaper option if you want a box most of the time. It is not entirely clear from the description if this is the box or the disk with the box, it does contain the disk, hence why I have written this review. The other thing worth noting, at least for my Sony HDD/DVD recorder, is that the -R disk supports fast dubbing mode, which records an hour's worth of television in about 3 minutes. The mode wasn't available when I tried +R and it took an hour. The white label takes pens better than some other disks which is also a plus.
Last piece of advice is to watch out for postage fees when ordering. Suddenly the best deals don't look so attractive.

I decided to upgrade to this card because the 7300 GT that came with my computer was in a word, lame. This card may not be the newest, or most powerful on the market, but as far as performance to price goes, its very very good. My computer (Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86 ghz with 1gb of RAM) can now play games like FEAR and Half Life 2 without breaking a sweat, and the card is powerful enough to run a lot of my older games without really needing to use the CPU. There is nothing wrong with this card in my opinion, and is a dependable and solid workhorse graphics card. As a result, i am planning on getting another one... ;)

I replaced my Radeon X700 card with this one, because the old card had become unreliable and Catalyst (the driver) kept crashing.

This card performs just as well as the X700, and is passively cooled, which means the computer is much quieter.

Deals well with streaming video and has plenty of video adjustment.

Seems too slow for intensive 3-D video gaming - I'm keen on Lock-On Modern Air Combat, but the frame rates are too low at quality settings.

Still pleased with the purchase and will probably make me buy a better DVI/HDMI monitor.

Iv'e owned one of these for almost 4 years now and until recently was able to play reasonably high end games on it, e.g UT 2004@1280x800 on high settings and COD2@1024x768 on medium.
For around £20 this really isn't all that bad and worth a look if your upgrading an older Xp machine which simply cannot take advantatage of more powerful GPU's. A good all rounder and definately much better than most shared solutions and for an older machine e.g 4-5 years old this is a must.
