The camera is great. The video quality is good and it works well with Linux. The big drawback, however, is that the clip is pretty much useless! It doesn't open wide enough for my laptop lid. I've got a Lenovo Thinkpad R61. It has a lip around the edge of the lid that brings the thickness to 20mm - which doesn't seem exceptionally thick for a laptop lid to me. If i'd realised this i wouldn't have bought it. No doubt it's ok for thinner lids though.

Easy to use, easy to throw away. No intelligent functions at all, ok if you want to make small recordings or return to manually end the recording as will lose recording if left to run out of power. Will record hours of video so long as you manually press stop before the battery runs out. You have to fill your sd card up with data so theres only enough room to record an hour and a half at a time so it saves the recording. Silly with daft oversights really. a completely manual piece of kit not for anyone who really wants a covert camera. A shame as the camera is mobile phone quality and quite good.

this webcam is quite good the quality of the picture is not too bad at all at first i didnt install it right and the picture was soooooo bad but then i actually followed what it said in the manual and then the picture went much better its really clear in light.i would reccomend this webcam to anyone who is lookin for a cheap buy.

I initially bought 2 cameras as security during a lengthy business/holiday trip. The wifi capability failed and was replaced within a week. Software for viewing the pictures allowed up to 4 cameras to be viewed, which was good when they worked. However, the cameras failed while I was away and even after being revived by a friend the wifi capability failed again very quickly. The supplied brackets were useless for holding the cameras in anything but one position. Onreturning from my trip I returned both cameras for a refund which is why I am now looking for replacements. I would not purchase this item again.

I was worried when I looked at this companies website, says it works with Garageband on one page and then says it doesnt on another. I can confirm it does work with Garageband. The new software has a ton of presets for many popular applications even web browsers and if you cant find it you can setup any keystroke to the buttons and wheels so it should work with just about anything. Very nice build quality. Can't fault it really.
