I installed this webcam with the latest software (version 11.5) and found that it periodically crashed my PC. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software a couple of times since following instructions received from Logitech support but to no avail. They are now suggesting I install an older version of the software (v11.1). I am inclined to give it up as a bad job.

There are issues with the driver, it works to start with and then after a few days, the picture is black. After reinstalling, it works again but the same thing happens. Now it won't work at all after reinstalling. The Mic is good and continues to work even though the the camera dosn't, the sound quality is good. The software dosn't work and crashes. Overall not great.

This camera was fantastic, comes in a box much larger than necessary, but after investing a bit more money than usual i was pleasantly surprised at the quality, 30 frames per second and 2mpx film, with 8mpx camera. it is a fantastic product, works well with SKYPE and MSN. After removing the packaging i just plugged it in and installed the software, the software is not necessary but you should install the latest driver software and make any updates.

this little camera looks really good in black chrome has an auto night sensing light mode and has a mic! what more can u ask for in under 6 pounds! the clip is great to attach to top of laptop screen. the camera can swivel in almost any direction! and if you want it can be stuck to a wall. also i had no problemns installing the drivers for this cammera. i had read the reviews on amazon before buying the item and as some had said before plugged in the camera and let the computer search for drivers it self!
