If you worked out what it costs per unit of electricity to use disposable batteries, you'd buy rechargeables to fit all your portable power needs. These ones seem to work well.

Bought these to replace 4 x AA Uniross 2700mAH batteries. The Uniross were approx 18 months old and would hold charge for around 8 hours before being totally exhausted - regardless of whether they were used in my camera or not. These batteries are great. Charged via my Uniross Sprint 1 hour charger, these have held their charge for approx 2 weeks now, still supplying my camera with enough power for rapid flash charge. Camera is a Canon A700 with LCD on - it demands a lot of power to recycle the flash. Definitely recommended over Uniross.

ive used this twice now to charge my radio and i have only got 10hours play back time on each occassion.dont know if the batteries drain quickly because it isnt a very strong signal where i use it ,or that it depends on how lloud you have got it on.all in all i found this product fairly useful.

When I bought the EOS350D I also bought a Jessops spare battery - out of the two, the canon has completely died on me (no power, the recharger goes green after 20 seconds, but there is still no power) - the jessops one is still going strong. At 3 times the cost - I'll be buying a compatible one. p.s. the camera is fantastic.

I'd hunted around other sites for a spare battery to carry with my Ixus 40's issued one (having recently been kicking myself for not doing this sooner in a wedding where the battery ran out half way through!). This battery is exactly as shown in the photo - the spec matchs my Ixus 40's issued battery to the tee. Other sites had them shipped from Japan or were cheap imitation batteries which couldn't guarantee compatibility with the Canon charger. Worth every penny.
