An elegant and clever enhancement to any lounge. A nearly ideal gift to your Grandparents. It does all it says on the box well EXCEPT that it claims on page 18 of the user guide to show mjpeg (avi) videos (their brackets, not mine). Canon cameras,(I am sure you have heard of Canon!) take avi videos, BUT THEY WILL NOT PLAY ON THIS FRAME. This is a real disappointment and spoils what otherwise is a good and simple to operate product. BT are unwilling to comment on their misleading claim and the supplier has had a similar reaction from BT. How typical of BT and WHAT A SHAME.

Bought this for my mother-in-law for her birthday as I already owned the 8" Picture Frame and she loved it. Wish I could now swap it for the 10.4"!! Other reviews already give you the technical details but I have no issues with it at all. If you understand using files on a computer it doesn't take much to work out how to use it. What I like is you can pop in your memory card and off you go. Most people forget to mention that the screen is also 4:3 and not widescreen 16:9. So there is no need to mess about with resizing your images to fit to widescreen. A definite plus for this frame! There is no random feature but if you load your photos to the memory card in seperate folders you can select one and tell it to repeat ... Read More:

Purchased this for my husband as a birthday present and wasn't really sure what to expect and wasn't sure whether it would actually be any good. I was very surprised and very pleased with my choice. Setting it up and setting the time was very easy to do. It came with a CD to install the software to load your photos. This was very straight forward, easy to do and worked first time. Once the programme was installed it was very simple to choose my photos from my computer to upload. As your photo will probably be bigger than the screen, the programme let's you edit the photo by showing you a red dotted line representing the size of the screen, that way you can ensure that you get the person in the screen shot. This is a gem. I good size so the pictures can be seen from a reasonable distance and easily controlled from the supplied remote. I bought it for a present so I have not tried the MP3 and MP4 functions however, if they work as well as the picture slide show then it will be terrific. The instruction manual is obviously translated from 'other than English' to English and this does cause a few smiles. Given some of the adventurous translation I still found it easy to follow. I am very confident that once other members of my family have seen this in operation they will want one.
