First off the idea is great as I have lots of pictures of my 2 year old. However this item comes with basic instructions that are at best, poor and there is no backup when things go wrong. It requires 8 consecutive hours to charge and after loading 52 images of the 72, I had to load the remainder one at a time as the save function failed when loading multiples. The unit then only worked occasionally and had to be reset constantly. The function buttons are on the back which makes it difficult to set etc. If you scroll through the pictures to find a particular frame, the unit freezes and has to be reset.
