Assuming that this is the same 7" Linx frame sold by Argos at the moment (they claim half price at £69 but I can't imagine who would have paid full price for this!), the quality of this product is appalling, however it seems that many frames suffer from the same problems. 1. No autoplay, everytime you switch the thing on you have to set the slideshow going, or spend all day looking at the terrible quality text on the browser menu. 2. Poor image quality, the images I tried on this looked terrible, very very poor quality. I'm mainly comparing this with the 8" MyMedia frame I bought from Aldi earlier this year for around £70-80, and in comparison the Aldi frame is a dream, nice sized screen, good image quality, ... I bought this item after researching extensively and reading through all reviews for this frame. I must say i am very impressed by this item. Its true thats ome of the pictures need to be resized to fit perfectly, but that is a minor issue, if you dont mind some pictures having a black/white/grey bar on both sides (depending onw hich background colour you choose). Resolution is good and the display is very well lit, you can see pictures with sunlight directly falling on the frame. What i did find questionable is the built in battery. May be i havent used it for long enough, or not charged it enough, but I let the frame get charged over night and then set it up in the morning. I'd been looking for ages for a photo frame with a leather look that would actually match my other picture frames and general apartment furnishings. I bought this as a gift for my mum and she gave it back! The pictures look dreadful - terrible quality - I can't believe the other reviewers are happy with it. The viewing angle is also extremely limited. Of the 7 photos I put on only one looked ok and that was only if you looked at it from one particular angle anything else and it was unrecognisable. I'm going to try and send mine back.
