I bought this camera 3 weeks ago and have taken about 500 images in all light conditions with very good results. I have owned a Fuji Finepix 410 for 4 years which still takes super quality pics, but when I saw this little beauty I just had to have it for the size alone! Smart, slim, easy to use and very elegant to look at, it's perfect for that night out with friends at a ball or dinner party. Software included is excellent and easy to set up complete with printing instructions. Images are v. good on the high quality settings and with a 512 MB picture card you get 250 plus images at 8M pixels. The usual great value too from Amazon.

I used a Powershot A40 from 2003 until last year which was always superb. I then bought a Lumix FX50 ( £200 ) because it has a Leica lens and was small enough to fit in a pocket. Guess what? It was nowhere near as good quality as the old 2Mp Canon. Just bought this and It's a lot of camera for the money. If I adjust it down to 2Mp it's still comparable to the Lumix!Plus it doesn't suffer mad fits of colour saturation on flash photos like the Lumix did. It may be a little chunky for a pocket, but if you prefer some control over your photos as apposed to "point and shoot" this will take some beating!

I have recently recieved my silver Nikon coolpix S440 after scouring the internet for information regarding the best all round compact digital camera. I have previously been a Sony P10 Cybershot user but the New Sony reviews were not all good and the spec questionable below £220. After much deliberation I opted for the coolpix (knowing it did not have a viewfinder) I am so pleased I took my time to investigate the options, the camera has 10 useable megapixels with some realyy cool funtions such as panoramic with a X5 zoom lense (not digital zoom, there is X4 digital also) The pictures I have taken with the camera are crystal clear and with the 10 MP enlarge perfectly. After using other memory sticks with secure data encryption and finding that my work network would not allow full use, Ironkey came up trumps. I work with confidential information and can honestly say I am now 99.9% confident that in the event of losing the Ironkey the stored info will remain confidential.I chose the 4Gb standard edition as it had additional backup services and the password manager. I particularly liked the self destruct ability and the password generator. A brilliant, brilliant product in my humble opinion.

We as a family were flying out to egypt when i finally decided to buy a camara and it arrived on the day i was due to fly and did not really have time to sit and read the instructions. I found that the menu system was so esay to use that the pictures turned out better than i could have imagined.
