Most people like to rave about the kit they buy. Cognitive dissonance! Let's be impartial. I've used the E520 for a month after buying through Amazon. It's a competitive camera in its price range. The compromises are all about the Four Thirds standard. Shorter focal lengths (half those of 35mm film cameras) go towards lighter weight and very good zoom range effectively 28mm - 300mm in 35mm equivalent with the two kit lenses. But also a smaller sensor for the megapixels with consequent noise problems to manage. You have to study the manual to get the best out of the E520. The most useful online review is of its immediate predecessor the E510, in dpreview.com. Olympus' compromise has been to add strong automatic noise reduction which ... Read More:

I got my T2 on friday (2 days ago) and i love it.

style
it's smaller than I expected which is a good thing. On sunday I had a shirt on rather than a tshirt and I kept the camera in the shirt pocket all day. Consequently I took about 40 snaps I wouldn't ordinarily have done.
I can be carried in a pocket without looking strange! But I would recommend getting a small case either the sony soft case, tamrac neo 3 or crusher PP40 - I've opted for the sony because I'm sad! (don't forget to look at the other companied esp. those who make trendy phone cases - this camera is so small it will fit in those ones)
It is simple, minimalistic and strangely tactile; I can't help opening the shutter cover on it.
Personally ... Read More:

Bought this so I can get a few photos on my photo frame. Love it! Very much a bargain for its price and I's small and chunky enough for me to hold onto and not loose. Its a shame that its not rechargeable, but to be honest you barely need to change the batteries for it!

This card is even faster than the extremely fast Extreme IV. As far as using it on camera is concerned, this gives a faster refresh time after the buffer has comletely filled up -- about 10 seconds on the Nikon D3 using NEF and JPEG together. In practice, over 2500 shots in one week, I never got to the point where shooting stopped because images hadn't been written to the buffer in time. I've never experienced that before with any card, and it set me free to shoot what I wanted when I wanted it.

Off camera, on Firewire 800, this card was amazingly fast, downloading a full card in about 4 minutes. That is, likewise, the fastest I've ever seen, and effectively means I can download 8GB onto a laptop in the field before the next card runs ... Read More:

This camera is really good when you first buy it as it is easy to use and looks nice and also has a good battery that lasts for hours. But after using it a few times your battery will break as there is apparently a fault in them and you will have to buy a new one!! So i would not recommend this camera to anyone who is looking for a good digital camera!!
