Another good pocket camera from pentax.Easy to use ,with a wide zoom range of 28 - 90 mm.The wide angle is very useful for landscapes & buildings , while the top end is the classic point for portraits.Good zoom control within the range.Another useful facility is the mid-roll change when required. Many other functions also included within the camera build.A good beginners camera & an enthuiasts back-up.

Owned a Pentax compact about 10 years ago with great results, but I've really struggled with this model. Poorly focused pictures, appalling shutter lag and vampiric red eye (even with reduction on) from all angles. Its also quite a brick. I could be an inept user, but I've never had problems before & reckon this apparent value for money simply is too good to be true.

Having previously owned a Nikon F55, I was interested to see how I could develop my photography using the model up - I haven't been disappointed. This is a lightweight unit and it does almost everything I can imagine wanting to do (though I did buy it with a 100-300 zoom). The range of flash options means it is highly adaptable and the additional night-time programme setting has proved much more useful than I thought it might! At the same time, there is considerable flexibility to adjust everything manually. The only real down side is the slightly slow and cumbersome selection process for the focussing grid, but that is only a problem when you're setting up a specific shot.

Overall, I am delighted with this camera - it's light, ... Read More:

well i had this camera and for the price i got it for it was great. its light and small with a flash, and with the APS its another reason to buy it, with the easy drop in film three different size format and this camera gave me excellent pictures. if ur going uni and want quality for cheap then i advise you to buy this. The only problem is the expensive price (in terms of film) to buy and develop the film (after all it is kodak advantix)
