I have got to say this is a nice looking frame, but as with other peoples reviews I was also caught out with the mis- advertised Amazon model. I shopped around and decided to get it from Pixmania where it was £125 plus postage. When it was delivered it had no internal memory or battery, the very things I had ordered it for. So I checked Pixmanias web site and found that their description tallied with what I had ordered, so I suppose it was partly my fault for not double checking. I have just got my money back for this item as after 2 weeks it developed a fault and would not show photos landscape but was ok when I flipped the screen portrait. Bought this frame a month ago and, while I agree to some extent with previous comments, I still think it's worth it. In daylight, you wouldn't know this was a digital photo frame - it's that good. I too had dust under the glass which, while frustrating, is not noticeable. Equally, the picture is a little grainy on certain shots (have not figured out the link on which ones aren't and which ones are). All that said, we have ours on the mantelpiece alongside other photos - it's at a distance from points of viewing (prob about same distance as TV) and none of these factors are noticeable at this distance. We get great pleasure from seeing people's positive reaction when noticing the frame and then informing them it's digital. It ... Read More:

I'm really impressed with this, and it turned up really quickly too. I bought it as a present for someone in my household, and they've found it really quick and easy to use. The picture is suprisingly clear and bright. A++ for an excellent present - I'll be back at Christmas time!

I have seen a number of photo frames and the majority of those have had poor quality screens but with the Aiptek Monet I was surprised as it has a high resolution screen (800*480). The colours, transitions and viewing angle couldn't be better. My main requirement from a digital photo frame was to be able to view back the photos in the same quality that I would print them out at....the Monet does this!! When I don't want it showing images the calendar function is a great feature. Another nice touch is the USB host support for USB flash drives.
