I bought this unit some months ago on the grounds of its quality pictures and wifi capability. Completely ignored the fact that Linux was not supported as hardly anyone does, but you can get most things to work with it. Firstly the quality is just as good as expected, miles better than the cheaper frames available. Then Linux - massive problem as this unit uses the Media Player 11 capabilities and I was completely stumped for several months - not too much of a problem as it reads SD cards and USB keys as well as the on-line thing. A couple of days ago I came across TwonkyMedia (their name, not mine!) and problem solved. Works absolutely brilliantly. Only 4 stars as Twonky requires licence.

The quality of the photos could be better (the example pics that come with it are of a much higher quality then what you can actually achieve with the frame) but it's clear enough to see the pictures fine. I was surprised at how few pictures it held being 8mb and the photos being so small, I got just under 100 on it. Overall, for £15.99 I didn't expect much better and am satisfied with what I got for the price. If you want high quality pics then go for a more expensive brand (and just look after your keys!), if you just want cheap and cheerful then this does the job.

I too had dust under the glass which, while frustrating, is not noticeable. Equally, the picture is a little grainy on certain shots (have not figured out the link on which ones aren't and which ones are). All that said, we have ours on the mantelpiece alongside other photos - it's at a distance from points of viewing (prob about same distance as TV) and none of these factors are noticeable at this distance. i am happy with this photo frame,it looks nice and easy to use.good quality pictures as long as you have a good camera,as i found out with the first photo frame i got from a well known retail shop (a#g#s).the instructions could be a bit clearer but over all a good buy...........

I bought this item after researching extensively and reading through all reviews for this frame. I must say i am very impressed by this item. Its true thats ome of the pictures need to be resized to fit perfectly, but that is a minor issue, if you dont mind some pictures having a black/white/grey bar on both sides (depending onw hich background colour you choose). Resolution is good and the display is very well lit, you can see pictures with sunlight directly falling on the frame. What i did find questionable is the built in battery. May be i havent used it for long enough, or not charged it enough, but I let the frame get charged over night and then set it up in the morning.
