This film is dangerouse. I watched it and I loved it sooooo much that I wanted to know how much of the story was accurate, so I read a biography about William Wilberforce, what an amazing person. And I keept reading on about him and I got more and more involved in the whole subject of slavery and the slave trade. I found myself traveling to Hull (the birthplace of Wilberforce) and to other locations connected to Wilberforce. My obsession gets as far as me not being able to spend the £2 coins that celebrate the abolitation of the slave trade. So if you don't mind these side effects, I urge you to watche this film,or, better read the fab biography, of this "out of this world" person, by William Hague.

Would thoroughly, completely recommend this translation to anyone REALLY wanting to explore God's Word and find answers. Have other versions but rely on the amplified for real clarity. A tip: It took me ages to figure this out - If listening to someone read out loud from another version, read the relevant passage in the amplified along with them - but skipping the bits in brackets - then it reads like any other version. . . then, afterwards, when you look back and read the words in the brackets - it gives great depth and insight into what you are reading...breakthrough! For private reading, its no problem anyway - just clear, helpful and blessed (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous and enviable)!

If you are serious about studying the Holy Bible then this is a supplement that you cannot do without. Its easy to handle format gives you great definition for Bible words and Bible context and also provides a Greek and Hebrew dictionary of translated Englsih words making it easier to understand the Holy Bible in the contect that it is written.

This is the second tme I have read this book, having recieved it as a gift some years back.Once again it is still an encouraging read.Dr Myles Monroe writesin a clear style; to inspire women to focus on the purpose God has in there lives.For the men in there lives he advises how best they can understand the woman on both a spiritual, physical and intellectual level.By having mutual love,listening, and a mutual respect with one another, through God's word, which was his original plan, superb.
