I thought I'd learn loads of new things with this book but actually I didn't. I would say its good for someone who's just got their first ipod but not for people who've been using one for a while. Most of the info in the book can be found online for those who are happy surfing.

This little book was a god-send to a novice iPodder such as me. It covers everything from selecting & buying the most appropriate iPod, Shuffle or whatever for your requirements through connecting it to your PC (what spec PC do you need, etc), using iTunes & purchasing tracks & albums from the iTunes store & finally to what to do when things go horribly wrong, which eventually they will. I was a bit flummoxed by how to get the most from my iPod (Photo, 30GB) - it seemed that I'd paid an awful lot of money for a glorified data stick. Don't get an iPod! They are highly overated and more often than not are owned as status symbols. I switched from iPod to sony after about 8 months because I was tired of having to buy downloads from itunes that my sister had already downloaded from virgin media which are compatable with practically all makes of mp3 player except for iPod. There are loads of alternatives out there that dont get enough recognition, are cheaper and do EXACTLY the same thing (Except are compatible with so many more download sites)!!!!

great value for money at the price that I picked it up for. Not sure about the humour but if you can see past this then well worth a read. If like me you're trying to a bit more than just a point and click shooter then this will give you some good, and easily accessible, tips.

Great book on Ipods, full of tips and tricks for both my player and the Itunes website. A life saver in fact, can't recommend it enough.

Well the sound is great. The 3 sizes of ear piece is great. And fitting was easy. The problem came when actually using them. The long ear piece wire conducts noise like a stethoscope so if you move around the wire brushing your clothes or just pulling on its own weight you get the equivalent sound of tapping your ear with your finger - it's maddening. Even pinning the wire to my collar didn't work as one of the single ear piece wires (non-adjustable) is only a few inches limit your head movement. But fine if your sitting still at a computer or on a bus.

I bought the Griffin iTrip Transmitter to use with a home stereo and in the car with the car radio. With the home stereo it just didn't cut it. Very poor sound reproduction even on a number of different frequencies. In the car it just didn't work at all. On the advice of a salesman in my local Apple outlet I returned the item for a replacement as he said it must be faulty, however the replacement was no different. Destined for the charity shop in the hope that it will work for someone else.

I was given these speakers as a present well over a year ago and thought they were brilliant. Have taken them on holiday etc, easy to pack, travelled well. I agree with other reviewers that the button to change sounds really does not seem to make any difference at all. If listening to the system on a low sound level definatley get a buzzing in background which can be abit annoying if trying to drift off to sleep. Having said all that they have been great speakers but unfortunately last week they decided to cut out altogether after approx 30seconds playtime and don't come back on unless I hit a button, then back to life they come for another 30 secs and so on and so on. Too late to send back, I'm sure they are out of warranty now and came online to buy the ... Read More:

I bought this as a secondary unit to an iTALKonline transmitter, and while I have probably been spoilt by that piece of kit, I honestly wasn't expecting the Roadtrip to be as bad as it is. Firstly, the basic fitting is not quite long enough to fit into the cigarette lighter and allow me to actually see and use the ipod. Due to the angle of the socket in my car (Audi TT), the ipod ends up pointing towards the floor, making it difficult to change tracks etc. Also, the extension arm supplied is way too long and the unit is too heavy to be supported safely by it, leaving it sticking out too far and waggling around.
