My husband bought this book as we were travelling to Orlando with friends. We had been to Orlando previously, but it was over 7 years ago. This book it packed with really useful tips and hints. We planned all our activities based on the quietest days to travel - and we had a great time, the longest ride we waited for was 20 minutes. However it was September and this is usually one of the quiestest times to travel. Every day the book would be with us, I have since passed onto my friends to use, definately worth the money. It even has discount cards in the back, which we used at one of the Retail Outlets - 15% off Adidas, as well as lots of other stores.

Thought I'd leave a short message on Beyond Disney. I bought the book in readiness for a week long trip, after purchasing a Flex Ticket Plus, and with plans to visit the major theme parks (Non Mouse related). Simply the book made the holiday easier and far better. The reviews of the attractions were generally spot on, although the Mummy ride at Universal Studios must surely be the best ride imaginable. Only slight problem is the changes that have taken place at the parks since the book was published, e.g. The Simpsons replacing Back To The Future, but that is a minor quibble and it's not as though I wouldn't have ridden The Simpsons. The idea of giving an outline for the best way to tour each park during the day is worth the money ... Read More:

A very informative read.This book gives you unbiased information and tips to help your holiday run that bit smoother especially with children.It gives details of restaurants ,hotels, attractions and can answer probably all of the questions you might have.When used along with The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2002 ,you won't be at a loss for what to do or when and how to do it.

This book is certainly useful when planning your WDW vacation. It contains detailed information about the parks, water parks and Downtown Disney as well as recreational facilities on Disney property. It provides information on Disney accommodations and restaurants as well as lots of photos, which the unofficial guides lack. The thing which makes this book fall short of essential however, is the lack of critique. The descriptions of the resorts, restaurants and parks themselves lack any element of comment or criticism and this makes the book feel like a costly extension to your holiday brochure. This map was reccomended to me by a friend. I would certainly reccomemend it. Not only does it give you clear guidence around disney, it also has some great things to do. This map is a great tool and a must for anyone visiting Florida. The fact it is laminated is realy handy too.

Although having been to Disneyworld previously this is the first time I have bought this book. They state that they will give the real picture and this they certainly do, in a very humorous way. The book is littered with hints and tips and gives information on the best ways to go on rides and which ones are usually worth the wait. However, I think sometimes there is a bit too much information which could reduce a lot of spontenaity. The do everything as quickly as possible approach my be ok if you are only in Orlando for a few days but for Brits going over there for three weeks it just sounds exhausting.
