This is a great map for a haulage company. But we have discovered there are several ferry routes missing in Scotland. All the English routes appear to be there? The AA should do better than this.

Wow - I have just passed my "C" class exam and have not started driving yet as I can not find a job !!!!! But this book is fantastic to read and the photo's / truckstops are really interesting to look at. It also tells you about gears / Coupling and many other things. This book is well worth the price. Also a must is the "The AA Truckers close-up map" Rather large and heavy. Keep on Trucking.

If, like me, you have come back to driving goods vehicles after a five year gap, you will find that the new EU rules on the number of hours you may drive in any set number of weeks to be quite confusing. This little pocket book (and it does fit quite easily in your coat pocket or bag pocket, so you can carry it with you when you're driving) will help you to understand the new rules and also the updated old rules concerning breaks. It also tells you about the new tachograph rules and the minimum pay you should receive for certain hours worked. It is very useful should you already have an old LGV Handbook but do not want to pay over £40 for a new one. Very good value.

A useful book. During my travels round the country I've tried some of the roadside cafes featured in this book. Some are excellent, some not so good. At least two have now closed down, so an updated edition is urgently required. Frustratingly, the cafes are listed alphabetically by name, rather than geographically, so it's sometimes hard to find the entries for cafes within a particular locality. This is something else that a revision should address.

this is definately a item to have if your looking to take a theory test for large vehicles. i have this item up for sale on amazon as i have no use for it anymore as im now an lgv driver. this cd helped me alot couldnt have passed the theory without it!

I particularly like the colouring of these maps, much nicer than the A-Z. Comprehensive coverage of all streets in a huge area. I'll be keeping this in my car! Note that there are some ommisions, particularly as some maps have the congestion charging area boundary shaded whilst the adjacent map has it missing - obviously an editorial oversight that will hopefully be fixed in future editions.

What set this 'AA' version apart from the others for me was the 'free magnetic tax disc holder' offered with the deal, however on arrival the addition was missing and there was a clear sticky trace where it had once sat. I have contacted Amazon and hopefully the replacement they are sending will include the tax disc holder, however it is not impressive how these 'free gifts' are obviously not protected from removal prior to shipping. The atlas itself is very clear and easy-to-use. I cannot raise fault with the product, just the service itself.

While I have used this on rare car journeys into the capital, I value it mainly as a reference work and it sits on my bookshelf. I am very lucky as it includes Sevenoaks, where I live, as well - perhaps more to do with a kink in the M25 than the city boundary. With its excellent mapping at 3.3 inches to the mile - 9 inches to the mile for the centre - as well as planning maps of various sizes, it really is difficult to think of what else AZ could add. Perhaps some more plans like the theatres and cinema ones showing visitor attractions, and perhaps one map of the whole M25 area, unencumbered by the grid of the detail pages, for planning purposes. I have had my current edition for 10 years and its still in great condition. ... Read More:
