And a great value kit. As a child I always used throw offs from my parents. Old canon or pentax 35mm basic things. Then I got a Nikon EM. Other than easier use of flash, I am well aware that an EM was not fit to sit next to something like... oh, an F2A. But the EM was great for me and I took many good pictures with it. I still have the EM and it still works. Since those days, my EM rarely sees the light of day as I am much older and I like the convienience of the digital age. I went digital first with compacts that I could carry anywhere. Fuji's FinePix4700 was my first digital camera. OK, so this is a good quality case well made from high quality material, but it's just too damn large. The camera is about 35% the thickness of the case! I bought the IXUS because it is a pocket sized camera but there's nothing pocket sized about this case.

I bought this bag after taking an age to decide if it was the right one for me. I checked the lowepro website to check if my camera fitted it and realised I couldn't go wrong for under £10. Its a great bag and my s9600 fits in sideways with a snug fit so it won't move around. There is room for batteries, memory cards and possibly a little more if needed. It has the all weather cover and a shoulder strap with the bag which seems comfy to wear across the body. I'd recommend the bag if you want something compact which is still nice and padded and great quality.

I have been using this camera for a few months now and the results are first class. You can point and shoot or use all the "bells and whistles". The zoom is excellent and the Image Stabilisation means that you do not need a tripod. Down-loading images to the computer is trouble-free. It is not too bulky but fits the case snugly so you need to carry spare batteries in your pocket. I am no expert but I have been congratulated on some of my results. Buy this camera with confidence; it even comes with two manuals - simple and advanced.

I have bought a number of camera manuals over the years from Lantern guides to Hove foto books, and they have all really done little more than re-hash the camera manual. The Digital Field guide starts with the manual and simplifies it and pulls out lots of useful customisation settings on the D80. It very quickly helps you around all the key featrures of the camera, then digs deeper into some key areas of operation. It is clearly and logiclly written and with lots of clean illustrations. The latter half is made up of a lot of general photography tips and an experienced photographer may skip a lot of this section, although I have to put my hand up and admit it refreshed me on a couple of key elements around flash. As many reviewers here have observed, this case is indeed small, and has no space for spares. It's also true that you can hardly fit the strap in, but actually I found this an advantage. I leave the top zip open and secure the flap using the velcro, with the camera strap out of the case. Then I put both straps around my neck which enables me to whip the camera out at a moment's notice without fear of either dropping it or losing the case. The camera fits snugly inside the case and it is well protected. It's a basic case but it does the job well.

I bought this for my Panasonic DMC-LX2 as suggested on Amazon that this camera pouch is perfect partner for Panasonic DMC-LX2, but in fact, it is not true as you can not put Panasonic DMC-LX2 into this pouch simply because DMC-LX2 outsize this pouch. I am really disappointed at Amazon. So you decide to buy Panasonic LX2 digital camera, just bring your digital camera to the shop to find a suitable pouch that really fits , I would not give this any star rating

Only buy this case if you have an ultra slim camera and only want the case to hold your camera! I have no idea what Amazon were on when they listed the product dimensions. The actual internal dimensions are (W)70 x (H)100 x (D)15 millimetres. This snugly holds my Casio Exilim EX-S10. A bargain for £4.

I always try to get the official Nikon items rather than aftermarket copies, and this remote was no exception to the rule. It works well and it helps to be in line-of-site of the remote sensor on the camera body as it becomes much more sensitive to the button press. One word of warning: mine needed a new battery after a few days of getting the item. I thought it was not very responsive until the battery was replaced, and now it is much better. If yours seems the same then try replacing the battery as the first port of call.
