The Apple Remote (NOT iPod remote as some people think it's sole purpose is) is an excellent solution for control from distance. I bought this for my MacBook so I could control iTunes from across the room, and be able to use Front Row while sitting down. Both can be done effortlessly! Buttons included are Menu, Volume + and -, Track Forwards and Backwards, and Play/Pause. Note that these buttons ultimately become Left, Right, Up, Down, and OK buttons on Front Row, which surfaces Apples innate ability to give simplicity a new definition. As the previous reviewer says, this product is not as pictured but the slightly bulkier one found around on ebay and other Amazon sellers. Because of the inaccurate advertising (the only reason I bought this one over the cheaper ones) I have given it one star. It does however work like the official, but is not as neat and you have to push in the two sides of the ipod dock connector plug to release it.

I recently purchased this item hoping that it would let me watch my videos on my tv on my ipod classic. well it doesn't work for videos on the ipod classic, works for music and photos but thats it. I tried it on the previous ipod model which i had (30gb video) the videos worked but the picture was very blurry and when you turned up the volume a weird buzzing sound came from the t.v. if you are planning on buying this to watch videos on your t.v don't if your buying it to use your t.v as an ipod speaker or to show photographs then buy it

The ipod fits really well and it does not open on its own, it looks really good and protects the ipod well from most bumps and drops, the lanyard is not to nice as it hurts around your neck, but the belt clip is good for walking around. It is the ultimate companion for your white ipod!

This is a generic USB mains charger that comes with all of the adapters required to plug into any power socket anywhere on earth, it also feels well made and robust. So it can be used to charge just about any USB device; I used mine in Thailand to charge sundry cameras and three different iPods (iPod classic G6, iPod nanoG1 & G2). All worked well with no issues at all. I haven't tried it with the older G3 models of iPod (but these were replaced in 2004) so I guess you must take note of those that have had issues with theirs. One criticism I have is that all of the various adapter plugs are separate and clip onto the main body of the charger when in use and there is no bag in which to store the unused adapters and keep it all together. ... Looks good - Just wondering if this supports 2nd Gen shuffles (I have the cable supplied with my Shuffle). I bought a generic USB charger from eBay, but was disappointed to find that it stops charging after a few minutes, and put my Shuffle (and iPod Nano) into a funny power state, showing a faulty battery icon. Luckily this went away when I went back to charging via my computer.

This product (as bought from _the_wow_store_) does come with a UK 3-pin plug and not the US plug suggested by the image.

Ordered this case, on a Sunday night, got it Tuesday morning, brilliant service. The case itself, is good quality, but attracts dust etc like hell. Overall the aesthetics are pleasing. Although the box says suitable for 60GB iPod Videos (5.5 Gen) and 80GB iPod Classics (6 Gen) There is a slight difference; i believe the case is originally made for the iPod 60GB Video, when i put my classic in, it fitted fine, but was loose. I researched the depth of each ipod, and there is a 2mm difference, this proved my theory. There is a way you can make your 80GB iPod Classic have a snug fit, that is by using the cardboard fake ipod insert that you get with the case.
