I gave this to my 76 year old mother (with a new DS) a few weeks ago, and I've not seen her since!

She's addicted. (And now understand why teenage boys crowd round computer game consols in shops!)

There's a huge choice of Solitaire games, almost too many to keep track of what you've tried etc. I wish they would bring something like this out with over a 100 word games.

If you like card games, you will like this - a bargain for the price.

I bought this game based on previous reviews and I can tell you that I was not disappointed. It is much better than Tetris and bejewelled. It starts off nice and easy and increases in difficulty to keep you on your toes. There are several options including daily play and you can personalise the colour scheme both background and blocks.
I let my mother have a try and now have to wrestle it off her. Fun for all the family and will make the time pass very quickly.
Since buying this I have neglected my other games, it is that good.

I was really enjoying playing this game and looking forward to getting past the many weak computer opponents to get to take on the 'big boys' at world championship level. However, when I got there (losing only two games to one opponent on the way) I found that all of the games at world championship level are timed. This would not be such a bad idea for a different challenge if the clock was set at a reasonable amount of time. However against the WEAKEST opponent at world championship level you have only 5 minutes on the clock to get through an entire game! The computer opponent usually moves almost straight away and can lay all its tiles on the board in one go. You on the other hand have no time at all to work on your letters and lose every time because ... Read More:

This a great puzzle pack......BUT I do find it very difficult to get it actually to get to the puzzle or game. The opening list of things to press to tell the DS to start up the chosen game seems to be over complicated.I do sometimes find I spend more time getting the thing up and running, hence have lost much playing time, and I certainly cannot pick it up casually play a short game or do a crossword unless I have plenty of time.Once it is in the puzzle mode all is fine......but then I am loathed to switch it off knowing I will have to go through the whole drama to start it up again !!!!!

Great solution to carrying a whole load of your DS games at once, the cases are great and keep closed well - they wont open themselves like cheaper cases.

All they need now are different colours :P

I thought I would wait a couple of weeks after purchasing this to give it a fair review, and it must be said - this game rocks! It has a wide enough variety of games to keep you involved, with bonus levels and hidden games to keep your interest levels up. Plus it doesn't moan at you for not playing every day like Dr Kawashima! The games stand up well to be played over and over due to the the fact that they are different every time you play, plus there is a random game option for a bit of variety. Definitely a worthy successor (and maybe superior?) to the Brain Training series.

Was relatively disappointed in this as the gameplay could be a lot better.

Monopoly - I found Monopoly quite confusing in terms of buying and selling properties - the instructions aren't clear and I ended up swapping properties I didn't want to swap in error.

Boggle - this was why I bought this game - loved Boggle as a kid. It's quite good but it has a really annoying menu where it's difficult to select the game you want to play!

Yahtzee - this is great - faithful to the original game with a choice of backgrounds

Battleships - probably the best configured game of the 4 - just a pity it's the most boring game!

Overall it's not bad - if you like the 'real-life' versions then you'll like this. I just ... Read More:

I received this game today. I immediately found the grid too small on the screen and it started to affect my eyesight. AFter 30 minutes I had to give up because it had given me headache. (I have for the past year been playing the Suduko on the Brain Training game and their grids takes up the whole screen and havent had any issues).
