2.Apple iPod classic 160GB silver from: Apple

: Apple iPod classic 160GB silver
I lost my previous 80 GB iPod not long ago, and I keenly felt its loss, so I bought this behemoth as a replacement so it would at least feel like an upgrade rather than a replacement. I guess the best indication of how much value you placed in something is how badly you miss it when it's gone. I bought my replacement the same day I realised it was missing.

The 160 GB model is noticeably chunkier than its smaller sibling, but not so much you'd actually bother. It retains the sleek, clean design and intuitive interface choices, although it shares a number of the same problems. While it usually works without fault, occasionally there are mysterious crashes and syncing problems that can frustrate. The headphones, while comfortable ... Read More:

Perfect, does exactly what it says on the tin. It's well built, stylish, light, comes with a blue LED and costs peanuts, what more could you wish for?! I can't understand the low ratings this product has got from previous reviewers.

I bought one of these things 6 months ago as I had registered for the great north run and was starting running on a regular basis

as a motivator, i find it excellent, i have always found running fairly soulless so the idea of logging up a number of runs and being able to view them graphically on a website works really well for me. it is free to register with the nike plus website, i don't have the fancy trainers, i use a pouch- and itunes does this automatically- you need at least a second generation nano, which was a bit disappointing but after that small hurdle i was sorted

one small point, i know how far i run- because i plan my runs on google maps but the accuracy is fairly sketchy sometimes- i believe it uses an accelerometer ... Read More:

This case protects the ipod nano well, it fits perfectly and looks really good on the ipod.

The only issue that I had was that you cannot connect your dock connector cable to the ipod while it is in the case. Since the description of the product actually states that you have use of this while in the case, this is actually not true.

I found this a problem because I use an ipod remote with earphones which uses this connection. However I did find a solution. The connection is covered by a bit of elastic which I just trimmed off with a pair of scissors! The ipod is still held firmly in the case and you have use to the connections.

Very neat case though, and I do recommend it.

I recently purchased myself a set of official Apple Component AV-Cable leads so I could store and watch videos on my iPod for when I went on holiday or stayed at a hotel ect.

I have owned my iPod Component AV-Cables for a few weeks now and would have to recommend them hands down to absolutely anyone who is looking for a perfect solution to watching movies on the go. The picture quality is great on dvd's converted from disc so long as you have decent software and most movies take up no more than 1gb (2gb max) The only thing which is a bit of pain in the butt is having to use the iPod to use functions such as fast forward, rewind play ect because the AV-Cable isn't ideally as long as it could be, also the controls for fast forward and rewind can be fiddly ... I received this for a birthday present assuming it would have everything it needed to get me up and running in the box. However it is virtually useless as it comes with absolutely nothing-you literally get the dock and adapters so any ipod can be used with it. Other than that you can't connect it to anything until you have bought all the leads. That is why I have given it 2 stars as it is a nice idea in principle but only if you have all the leads that are necessary. Otherwise you are shelling out alot of money for a few bits of plastic.

 : Apple iPod Remote
The Apple Remote (NOT iPod remote as some people think it's sole purpose is) is an excellent solution for control from distance. I bought this for my MacBook so I could control iTunes from across the room, and be able to use Front Row while sitting down. Both can be done effortlessly!

Buttons included are Menu, Volume + and -, Track Forwards and Backwards, and Play/Pause. Note that these buttons ultimately become Left, Right, Up, Down, and OK buttons on Front Row, which surfaces Apples innate ability to give simplicity a new definition.

Somehow, incredibly, the remote can be used without even pointing it at the MacBook. Since it's Infa Red, I really don't understand this! It's incredible. But since you must actually pair the MacBook/iMac with ... Read More:
