You have to be impressed by the technology and those Nintendogs are so realistic - all the fun of a pet, without the effort! My 7 year-old wanted a DS, as lots of her friends had them. As with any computer games, she gets headaches if she stares at it too long. They are also fairly solitary, as it's difficult for more than 1 other friend to crowd round the tiny screen, however they can connect with each other. I can see it being used for a couple of years, then it will have its limitations. Didn't think much of the brain-training game. If you seriously want to sharpen up your brain, then learn a musical instrument.

I was highly impressed with this game as i had got imagine happy cooking and it wasnt as good as i expected but this was much better and more advance (time limit) so good hope you like this game (written by 13 yr old)

This game is brilliant! When you first get your dog you have to play with it so that it gets settled in then you have to think of a name and say it into the mic a few times so that it gets to know its name. Then you have to call your dog over to you a few times. After that you are free to do whatever you want with your dog like going to competitions, taking it for walks, washing it, feeding and grooming it. You can also buy another dog if you want to. I really enjoy this game! It was the first game I ever I had and I would advise you to get it!

Having a son that is into horses finding something other than pokemon and racing games for him for the ds was anightmare. This game is fantastic, he played on it everyday until he had completed it! Groomed, mucked out, trained everyday, just like having a real horse. Well done to Nintendo- not all horse riders are girls!!

If you've got a DS this is great, it has every accessory you could ever need for your pink DS. And it's really great value for everything you get. The carry case is nice and robust plus has plenty of room for extra games and the emergency charger is a really nifty idea, great for travelling for those just in case moments. Overall this is a really well thought out package and I'm delighted I bought one.

After seeing my child struggle for over 40 minutes to get the nintendo machine to recognise the name she was calling (has to happen more than three times) and allow her to type it in, I felt compelled to warn other parents. It is a shame, its a good game which has been completely killed off by unnecessary voice recognition security. I hope someone from nintendo is listening, I am sure people have returned this game due to this design fault.

Heya I am actually quite frustrated with this game. I do like high school musical and was delighted when the game came out. I thought great, my favouite film packed into a game. Oh boy how wrong could I get? You basically spend most of your time pressing circles on the bottom screen to the different songs but even if you press them wrong, nothing seems to happen to their voices!! How strange?? Then u unlock clothing for the different characters which is not even slightly amusing. I may purchase the other high school musical game which is called High school musical living the dream. I just hope it is better than this great dissapointment.

This game is great from the seconed you play it.But at first it is a little hard understanding the what to do for Tom Nook and his shop, so I would recomend for the ages of 9 to 14.But over all it's fantastic because once you've paid your mortgage off your house gets bigger & bigger.Also you can make firends with people in your own town,send letters,make town tunes and there's lots of different events on different days!If you'er thinking about buying,all I say is it will bring hours of entainment to your kids and it's Great!

(This is written by Hannah,8 years). I got this game with my amazon voucher because it had good reveiws. But I have to say I was quite disappointed. At the start you get a dolphin and you have to name it. All you do after that is feed it, train it and play with your dolphin. You can enter contests aswell but they're boring. Overall it's quite a good game but after about 1 hour of play it gets quite boring.

this game is a very good one!!! The graphics are suprisingly good for a DS game and the story is quite clever, if not a bit short. the only thing as I said would be to make the story a bit longer as I finished it in a few days (although you can carry on carring for your horses and foals which is good). I like the way the two screens come into action when jumping one of your 3 horses in either compitions or practices because in the touch screen you can see the horses neck and your riders hands and in the top screen you can see where you are going!!! The foals are encredibly cute and are very realistic; they even rear up in the coral and lie down!!!
