I have had the acti fry for about 4 months now and find it great. Yes the chips do taste different to deep fried but in my opinion there taste nicer in the acti fry. I'm a fussy eating and found that when chips were cooking in a deep fat fryer if they weren't cooking in Olive oil then i just didn't like them. However with the acti fryer i find myself experimenting on different oils and seasonings. I use my acti fry for cooking meat especially chicken and sauage which tastes great. I would never use cook these meats any other way now. The best thing about the acti frying is how easy it is to clean. Had mine for several months now been very reliable but recently has started to slow down even with new batteries I would assume it's wearing out, shame One suggestion It's a shame it is white in colour as it very quickly gets stained when opening tins of beans, soup etc manufactures let's have a black one next time.

This is excellent. Poaches eggs perfect, boils eggs perfect. They should really make one that cooks up to 4 peices of toast and 2 poached eggs. It does do up to 4 boiled eggs though - very good.

I brought a Tefal Avanti Deluxe 2 Slice Toaster about 12 months ago and it has stopped working. Toasters are not high tech equipments, but just a few coils that heat up when power is passed through, the issue I had with this one was that the coil that heats up was too thin and broke. I did try to connect the broken ends with copper wires etc. but it didn't last that long. Does anyone make toasters where the coils are not exposed? Will have to find one !!!

I have to agree with the less than favourable reviews. After 8 months one of the arms refuses to stay down so it is now only a two-sice toaster. My first and last Tefal Avanti !!

Cheap little tin opener, so far had no tin unopened (had it a month or so). Also comes with a jar opener to open stubborn lids. Worth the money.

Brought this kettle to do my thing for the enviroment and like the concept of it but basically its nothing that couldn't be done with a normal kettle by only filing with the required amount of water needed. One problem I have found which I feel could be a potential hazard is that if you boil slightly too much water, after tipping the required amount out, as you return the kettle to the upright position boiling hot water and steam come shooting out the spout all over the work top.... I haven't had it catch me yet but I suspect the consequences could be a severe scauld/burn it it did. Also it is very heavy when the resovour is full of water making it unsuitable for an older person or with joint problems.

We've had this toaster for a year and having previously had one with a bun warmer I really missed the lack of this feature, especially as you cannot just put anything on top due to the sloped design. The slots are reasonably wide, but toast unevenly, getting worse with age. You cannot fit large slices of bread in and generally I pretty much hated it from the start, but having bought it, I thought I needed to get som use out of it before replacing it. That'll teach me for buying a prodct simply based on the 'look'. It's not completely useless, the reheat function works pretty well, hence 2 stars...

There is not much to say about this chipper, apart from the fact that it does the job clean and quick. The lever on it could have been a bit longer to make it even easier to push down.
